    What's the truth? Kovalev lost.

The truth is, Kovalev (right or wrong) will be angry with the decision of the last fight and I have more confidence this time around than last time that Ward gets hurt and stopped.

Kovalev dropped Ward last time, didn't commit and paid a heavy price, won't happen this time around, aggressive from the off, savage from the off and will show Ward a lack of respect because the respect he showed last time cost him dearly.

The "truth" is that Kovalev lost and his fans/Ward haters are in denial. I thought the decision could go either way in the first fight but given the way the fight ended, I don't see Kovalev stopping Ward in the rematch.

I'm not sure being more agressive and savage will be a good thing for Kovalev. If he gets out there looking for the KO shot without setting it up, without going to the body, trying to control the range and fights undisciplined(like how he fought in Pascal I) he'll lose again. Without controversy this time.

I predicted a Kovalev win, I thought he won, but I was on here straight after the fight and gave Ward a lot of credit for getting off the floor and making it competitive, he got the decision and I've said many times Ward deserves credit and respect and the whining and complaining has to stop.

I honestly believe Kovalev stops him this time, I think we will see a far more aggressive Kovalev.

We will see though, hopefully whatever happens it's clear cut and we don't have to suffer weeks, months and probably years of arguing.

Good points, I just believe he showed Ward far too much respect and allowed him back in the fight far too easily after the knock down.

I think we will see a more aggressive and spiteful Kovalev this time around and he may well feel he has to be, he didn't get the decision last time so that wasn't enough.

I agree, he can't be reckless but he will have to do more than last time, it wasn't enough and he knows that, he can't be confident he'll get a decision.

Great point about the body work though, always a great investment in a fight.

Kovalev did win the first fight, wasn't even close. Harold Lederman had it 116 - 111 Kovalev, Mayweather told SOB that Kovalev beat him.......................If SOB thinks that the only punch Kovalev has it the right hand, he will be surprised, Kovalev has a really hard left hook and jab. Kovalev's jab knocked SOB off balance, wait till Kovalev goes to the body.................

Like I said in this thread, a fully focused Kovalev is one of the best pure boxers on planet Earth and borderline impossible to beat.
