I might be completely making this up but isn't he being trained by someone who used to train Holyfield?

Yeah Roger Bloodworth, hes trained Tua in his early years with Lou Duva and Ronnie Shields, hes been around. Hes also trained other top guys, rather a contrast to that ****ing clown Reinsfield in Camerons corner

Okay...too many other fleeting Tua threads and hyperbolic Klitschko fantasy match-ups attracting naysayers and haters.

All hands on deck! The Express rolls on! :ibutt

If anyone catches wind of Tua's holidays victim, this should be destination #1.

Tua is easily a top 10 heavyweight, other than the Klitschko's I don't think there is one heavy in the division he wouldn't run through

Well rumours floating around here say rahman - but from what I understand they wont be alone in trying to secure the Rock for a fight about that time. I also dont know where they're at with the MaoriTV deal which would be the biggest obstacle to this bout happening anyway. I'll keep my ear to the ground for now...

I think Tua should fight Kali Meehan next.

    What do you think?!

He should steer clear of Rahman.

2 fighters in last chance saloon is dangerous. Should stick with the Kali Meehans etc - the 'nearly men' of the heavies, still with name recognition.

Or just cherry pick guys with rankings that aren't that great. God knows there's enough of them around.

(I really think he should **** off Kushner, and just sign a deal with the devil, Don King. You know King will get him title fights, and probably a title. Tua is marketable enough for King, easy).

Steer clear of Rahman? Have you seen Rahman's last few performances? He's no danger to Bob Mirovic, let alone a fired-up Tua.

    Rahman

That would be a great fight for Tua. He's still got a name, hell Wlad only fought him a couple fights ago, and he's ripe for the taking. Plus they have history. They might both be old but the difference is Rahman is on his way out judging by his performance/attitude, and Tua is back and hungry.

Yeah, but fighting Tua might light a fire under Rahman, like Cameron lit under Tua.

I'd steer clear. I think Tua would win, but why risk the gravy train?? No other fighters have done that to get title shots, why should somebody with Tua's name do the same?

It's the guys like Povetkin, Chambers, Brock etc that should be looking to fight Tua, to make a name for themselves. but they don't want to. Why should they when they can make their millions fighting scrubs and getting a title shot that' they've no chance of winning due to never having been pushed in a fight, but can still cash the cheque??

If Tua has to fight some nonames to complete the $50,000/fight 3-fight MaoriTv deal, then I reckon Shane deserves another go, glutton for punishment you could say, but I thought he was boxing ok, until he got countered with his right-hand low.
He would do better next time and is such a brave bloke IMO he deserves chance at saying look I lasted til round 6 this time nahanahnana

Better for Tuas development though would be Rahman (personal redemption) or Meehan which has the bonus of being a big local fight as Kali is a kiwi also. I reckon perfect opponents for Tua though would be Dimitrenko or Michael Grant cos they are 6'7 like Klits , can jab pretty well, but wont hurt Tua much and are KOable.
Tua desperately needs to prove he can beat a super-tall heavyweight, biggest guys hes beaten are around the 6'3/6'4 mark like Maskaev and Danell Nicholson. Maybe Salif was taller but Tua sucked in that fight.

Apparently Kushner's going to try and set Tua's December fight for a 2:30pm local start time to make it palatable to American television. :happy
