I am on board big time! Tua is as dedicated as we have seen him post the Byrd fight and with a proper team behind him anything can happen....as long it happens quickly!! Is he gonna beat the Klits prob not, but a focussed tua will wipe the rest of the HW scene out!

After shaking off the M-TV chains later this year, Tua has to target the winner of Haye vs. Ruiz - it's the only way to satisfy the titular goal of this express.

Not a surprising result given Friday's durability and somewhat inactive sparring mentality, Tua next step must be someone well rated that he has never met before, he has sparred tons with Cameron and Friday and needs to get out of that comfort zone before challenging a top heavyweight.

If he gets a title shot without stepping up again in class it would be a mistake after so long without a really tough fight, despite his ring experience.

I think Dimitrenko would be a good Klitschko emulator, hes very similar in size but more beatable while still plenty skilled and strong enough to give Tua some big problems.

I think Tua would splatter Haye if the Klits dont get to him first, terrible style matchup for Haye, he should be sanctioned more severely for rabbit punching also. Thats 2 fights in succession he has done that.

So whats the deal- Tua is locked in to 2 more fights with Maori TV before he can take a fight with a ranked contender? I'm a little out of the loop with his current status.

Yes, Tua fights his second fight on MTV against Barrett. His third and final MTV is against a Barrett look-a-like. Then the MTV contract is finished. Next step is to either fight for the belt (Haye or W.Klit), or fight an eliminator to a belt, possibly the end of the year. The timing is perfect. Tua needs to continue to work on his timing, stay in shape, and upgrade his opponents while satisfying his MTV contract. He should be ready for the eliminator the end of the year.

Everyone wants a big fight NOW for Tua. Number 1: he's not ready, after almost a 2 year layoff. The Friday fight was his first 12 rounder in a long time. Number 2: The numbers are not right, right now. Tua needs to create alot of hype to get good money outta Klit. Right now, Klit wouldn't pay Tua a million to fight him. But if he KO's Barrett and a Barrett look-a-like early, then KO's an eliminator (Peter?), he'll be able to get paid much better than right now.

What do you mean by Barrett look-a-like? Is there someone specific that you've heard rumored, or is that just a generic term for someone of about the same class? :think

Yes, someone at Barrett's class, Intentional Butt. A past it contender, or an up and comer. Maybe a Guinn, McCall, Chazz Witherspoon, Mollo, Boswell, Zuri Lawrence, Maddalone, Kauffman. Someone who is competitive but really not in Tua's class. After that fight, he needs to fight an eliminator. Peter?

McCall?? It would be a good fight to see. But Tua wants to take the easy road and not risk anything. McCall with his granite chin and punch power would be a brutal war. Besides McCall was calling out Tua after the Cameron fight and Tua didn't want a bar of it.

What about Minto. He just got dominated and looked like he had nothing left. He will put up a valiant effort but he is hardly going to worry Tua. Tua wants someone who isn't going to test him so he keep his ranking and cross his fingers Wlad is generous enough to offer him a fight.
