That would be interesting... Some of his quotes are transferable:

“Look at the man go, its like trying to stop a waterbuffalo with a pea-shooter”

“The atmosphere is so tense, if Elvis walked in with a portion of chips, you could hear the vinegar sizzle on them”

“When Alexander of Macedonia was 33, he cried salt tears because there were no more worlds to conquer..... Cleverly's only 22.”

Buffer is the only one worth his salt.

Lennon Jr is okay but doesn't build up the anticipation quite like Buffer.

Worst are Barney the dinosaur on Hennessy's bills, the black guy and that spazzer last night. So basically all the UK ones

The Mexican guy Top Rank sometimes use is quite decent as well.

I fear for the great art of MCing once Buffer and Lennon pack it in. A big fight just isn't the same without one of them two.

Agree with your buffer comment big time but "all the UK ones", Michael Pass, John McDonald & Craig Stephen are all good IMO, not Buffer class though, but who is, the guys a legend

This guy is a ****ing joke. I've never seen him announce a fight without cocking up multiple times. If you watch him he has to refer to his cards just to say 'Ladies and gentleman', truly tragic. Can only assume that he has some serious dirt on Warren and is blackmailing him.

I genuinely think I could do a better job than the "magic man". I've never seen a supposed actor look so out of his comfort zone reading from a cue card with a microphone, shaking hands the lot!

Mark Burdis doesn't seem as bad as he used to be(not that it's anything to shout about though), I remember the first time I saw him announcing he looked petrified and I honestly thought the poor **** was going to faint(how bad would that be eh? The first person to be laid out on the canvas is the ****ing announcer), then he went through a spell where he just shouted into the mic, seems to have calmed down a bit now though still stutters.

John Mcdonald is probably the best we've got though he's not a patch on Buffer.

Jimmy Lennon Jr. ****! The Munroe fight was the first I've seen him do for a long time(I probably have seen him since but likely been too pissed to notice)
