Im fortunate to be living like 10 minutes away from the best boxing venue in the West Coast.. Not only alot good fights take place here, but the tickets are always reasonable priced and there's not a bad seat in the house.. So cozy feeling.. Looking back, there were many legendary fights at this venue.. Marquez-Vazquez 1-3, Rios-Alvarado and now Bradley-PRovodnikov.. There's something magical about this place.. What are your thoughts on the Home Depot Center??
Margarito-PW was also a good fight and I believe it was held there. I always wanted to go see a fight there as the atmoshphere just looks fun.
I was fortunate enough to attend Rios-Alvarado and PWill-Margarito. Great boxing venue where even cheap and midlevel seats are pretty good. It's also fun to watch Mexican gangsters brawl in the stands, as long it's not too close.
YEa it was and I was there back in the summer of 2007.. I remember Andre Ward being on the undercard and Chris Arreola when he was coming up as a prospect.. Chris Arreola sat ringside after his fight was over and I just remember seeing a bunch of Latinas hovering around him.. Dude was pimpin The main even event was very dissapointing though. IT was a pro-margarito crowd and it sucked to see him lose.. Everybody and they mama was chanting MArgarito! Margarito! Margarito! awww good times
i love that venue....the smaller one though, it just has that ghetto cozy feeling inside that lil dome.......i've been there a few times, and it never fails me as a fan....love it
I love The Home Depot Center. Good fights....great fights and awesome crowds. There's not a bad seat in the house. Actually, you can be walking along the top concourse and still have a decent view of the action. And coming up from OC it is easy to get to. I was there for Ward/Abraham and Rios/Alvarado.
