But the point Ripper was trying to make is FLoyd won't have to fight him like he did the other southpaws and come forward and press the action

....let's not beat around the bush, the main reason is Floyd does not want this risky fight.

The main reason pacquiao will not beat mayweather is that they will never fight each other!!!!!!!

I'm not saying Floyd is on the juice but with his constant vacations, it could be suspected that he's roiding up and comes back after he's done with the cycle so he would not get caught in any drug test. I'm not saying he's juicing but i wouldn't be surprised if he does.

Even Victor Conte believes that the best time to roid up is not when your in a fight camp but when you're on vacation. this is why Conte calls USADA drug testing as a sham and instead proposes a year-round drug test for all fighters. With floyd out in vacations, the possibility that he roids up is so great. Again i'm not saying he's juicing, i'm just if there's anyone who's on the juice, it would be floyd and i wouldn't be surprised if he is on it.

You can't beat the one who won't fight.

There were just 2 rounds in that fight. Do this site a favor by watching 'em.
I'll give you a hint: the crowd roared when Hatton connected a big one, but as always, it didn't stop Pac's assault.

So you saying that Pac anticipated all of the punches that came from his past opponents which is why he was never stunned?
So that you may conclude that although it's OBVIOUS that Floyd hits less harder than them all, there's a "fairly good chance" that he will stun Pac?
And even if you are correct, you think having a "fairly good chance" of stunning Pac should be enough to neutralize his assault?

    Please.

You should make Pac respect your counterpunching to completely neutralize his aggressiveness. That's what Morales and JMM did. Mosley's circling around is **** if you can't back it up with serious counterpunching.
FMJ's potshots ALONE won't suffice as well.
I've said this countless times already, May needs to clinch like hell to disappoint and throw Pac's rhytmn off. It's his best chance to UD Pac.
All other posters who think FMJ will KO Pac are plain dumb.

I know what punch you are talking about...but you claim that 1 punch is harder than anything Mayweather can throw...and that is ridiculous.

Pacquiao has never been stunned? I suggest you watch more of his bouts, not just since the DLH bout...

Mayweather does not hit as hard as certain boxers you mentioned, but if you think momentum, accuracy, speed, punch placement, punches you don't see don't factor into stunning/hurting someone...then you shouldn't really be debating about this subject. Did I say it would neutralize his offense? I can't remember saying that. But hey, this is boxing...anything can happen. Everyone reacts differently to different punches from different people...and if you don't know that...I suggest you follow a different sport, or stop being so naive.

I agree, clinching is a factor that will upset and frustrate Pacquiao in this match up.

This is boxing...everyone can be knocked out.

Yeah, Pac's defence, or lack of, is there for Floyd to exploit.
