Nice try. Floyd was holding, elbowing, anything he had, to survive.....:patsch hatton was getting called for holding while it was Floyd initiating it. Floyd knocked out Hatton cause Hatton forced him to fight. Floyd was impressive when he started opening up later on. The first six rounds were even. Floyd has won these types of fights cause of his stamina and conditioning. Pac trains as hard or harder than Floyd and won't tire down the stretch.

Gets hit less and less and punches less and less. You take less risks, you get less.

THat is not the same PAC that is before us today. I think Floyd wins...but only b/c of his defensive style that will be hard for PAC to get FLoyd into a real FIGHT long enough to win the majority of rounds. I will say Floyd will be in his most difficult fight if he faces PAC....but I think he'll out point the filipino.

Floyd has always been this good for the most part. He really hasn't improved...he only switches up his style to fit the level of opposition or "risk" his opponent presents.

Very true! Good point. I'm more logical though. I know FLoyd hasn't faced anyone like PAC but PAC hasn't faced anyone like FLoyd. Floyd will probably outpoint PAC. The last 4 rds of Cotto vs PAC will be 75% of the fight if PAC and Floyd get it on. 25% of the time PAC will get Floyd in uncomfortable situations that Floyd will HAVE TO FIGHT out of. And that quarter of there fight will be PAC's openings to get him out of there. I don't see Floyd loosing a decision, but I do see the hardest fight of his life with PAC where he edges a decision from the P4P king.

Now that's much more stupid than Hatton getting Mayweather out balanced. Floyd doesn't have much power above 135. Cotto is great boxer puncher. There was hardly any reaction from Pacquiao when Cotto lands his body shots. Now, what makes you think that Mayweather who is not really a strong puncher can hurt Manny? Not to mention that that video was from a decade ago. Do you think Manny has the same body frame when he was 16-17 years old? :patsch

the main reason is that floyd wont fight pac, he'll have to get at lest 65 to 70% of the money to take that fight. he to much of a ***** so it will have to be the biggest pay day of his life. but he'll talk a lot of **** so that will be fun:thumbsup

Who has Floyd busted with Manny's offense and skill? NO ONE! The man also fought sluggers. Gatti, Castillo, Hatton = boxer punchers or sluggers! JMM

IMO, Mayweather doesn't even deserve the higher share of the purse IF Pacquiao-Cotto beat the views from the May-JMM fight.:deal The cut should favor Pacquiao if they beat the other fight.

    Beating Pac with the Jab?

See it is stupid post like this that makes you wonder if these guys even know how to watch boxing. The reason the jab was given up was because of teh pnches Cotto was eating when he threw them. Don't just lok at the jabs that landed. Look at the jabs Cotto attemted and then eating power shots from Pac.

Cotto beating pac with the jab :patsch. So nice of Cotto to let Pac when. I mean all it took were jabs. Pac would have stood there and not counter or time the jab.

That was over a decade ago, Hatton fight was 2 years ago when Floyd was in his prime. 2 different examples. Atleast use JMM if you wanted to put up a better argument.
