Arum is stifling alot of careers to benefit this JMM/Pacquiao WAR.
(Rios, Bradley, Marquez & Pacquaio come to mind)

Yea and Im one of them.. Marquez closed the book on this series with this earth shattering KO.. There couldnt have been a different ending to a story so why is a 5th bout necessary?? Should Duran face hearns again?

It's done and marquez confirmed what most people knew all along.. that he's the superior fighter..

Id rather see him face the young guns such as Garciam, bradley, or mythese..

The same movie gets boring after a while. Lets see Pac vs Rios and Juan vs Bradley or somebody at 140

LOL that's just it! And Arum knows that, which is why it WILL happen :)

Marquez fans will watch, Pacquiao fans will watch and the key is I think more neutral boxing fans will be keener on watching it than they were the 4th fight - this one has got far more excitement around it. The 4th one did 1.1m and that was coming off the 3rd fight which was by far the most boring fight between the two

because juans fans finally have legitimate bragging rights over *******s and a 5th fight could very well end with juan all busted up like he seemed to be headed before the ko. the fight was awesome and anyone who loves fighting at the highest levels would no doubt welcome another go... unless personel agendas trump your love of a good fight.

An immediate rematch? Hell no. If Pac gets a title from Bradley and looks good doing it then I'm open to Pac-JMM 5. But at this point we need to see something different. Think of it as the Superbowl. You wouldn't have the same teams play every year would you? Of course not. They play other teams in the regular season/playoffs. Although Duran went on to beat others he never rematched Hearns after that brutal KO he suffered. I can't think of any boxer in history over the age of 30 who got KOed badly by an ATG, rematched, and avenged his loss. That's not to say Pac can't do it but, again, right now we need to see him and JMM fight others.

not only pac fans that want the fight, manny himself want the fight.

i understand floyd fans defending a duck but it puzzles me why a messican/s would back away from a challenge and actually defend a duck.

1 They have fought 4 times already

2 JMM is declining by the year, younger Pac has had two attempts at beating old JMM, he doesn't deserve a 3rd and it wouldn't mean that much

3 Back to JMM declining, this is clear as this is the first fight that Pac has been leading on the cards hrough winning the majority of the rounds.

4 It's taking 4 fights for JMM to eventually get an 'official' win and he had to do that by brutal ko, he was badly treated in the other fights, he deserves to have the last say and end the series with a win, he does not deserve that deifning win to be tarnished

5 I'd like JMM to retire full stop, a great way to go out, oherwise he is gonna lose to inferior fighters which is sad

What outcome would need to happen in the 5th fight for there not to be talks about a 6th fight?

If you were to ask that going into the 4th fight I think many would say a knock out win for either fighter.

Wouldn't mind a 5th fight though it would be a competitive fight, but would rather they fight the likes of Garcia, Matthysse, Guerrero, Alexander and Bradley.

I didn't want to see III or IV when they were announced (shrugs). Don't care for V, but if they don't both retire like I'd want, V is the only fight I'd really care to see them in other than Bradley.

Same story gets played out eventually. You have to ask yourself, would Pac fans want a 5th fight if JMM was the one KO'd or would they say that proves Pac is superior? :think :yep

They need to face other fighters.. It's stupid to limit these two great fighters to fighting each other because of a rivalry.

    This.

2 razor close fights which could have gone either way.
1 horrible, massively disagreed with decision.
1 beautiful KO taking the other guy out cold.

I think we're good on this matchup. Decisive advantage: JMM.
