Cool read man, Toney is one of those guys who had a ton of talent and knew it. I don't fault him for the way he is, because where he grew up if you were the toughest you still had to say so, or people would challenge you. I wish he would have been more focused on legacy. He might have been one of the top 100 or so fighters to have ever lived. Sadly he is now a mixed martial artist, and former steroid user.
Great posts and great thread:good. Not much more to add from me but I will say Toney from prime-now still wants to fight everyone he can. Yes he gets embarrased in MMA but what fighter would fight in an unfamiliar sport like that taking on legends? He fought/will fight LEGENDS(Couture, Shamrock) not cans in a sport he's not particularly good in. I wish MUCH more guys around in boxing had his balls instead of these spoiled princesses now like Pacquaio just became last year & Floyd post-Castillo. Toney's willingness to fight anyone along with his craftiness is what truly makes him old school.
and looking forward to it! You've made some of the best threads I've seen on this site. keep up the good work :good
