The way Nistor anhiliated Joshua just can't be forgotten. It's not like he lost a close decision like some other fighters do in the amateurs Nistor wiped his butt with Joshua and threw him down the toilet

Never mind that he’s factually incorrect. You think bodybuilders don’t target fast twitch fibres as well? Good god the stupidity, and then you think that I got something wrong.

Let me know if you want me to explain elementary muscle physiology to you and Mirko.

Sarcoplasmic hypertrophy, satellite cells and hyperplasia from steroid use. You’re confused because the proportion of slow twitch to fast twitch is different than a power athlete, that’s relative and not absolute. All strength training tends to push muscle fibres towards a type 11a profile. Fast twitch fibres are activated through the size principle, the largest fibres are activated last. When you train a light weight to fatigue you drain the slow twitch fibres and then recruit those larger fast twitch fibres, that’s why bodybuilders train to fatigue to target the whole range of fibres, and they don’t have to worry about about the accumulated metabolic fatigue due to some extra ‘help’.

Joshua is hardly the embodiment of a fast twitch muscle freak though.

Thanks for the google info. Just about every sport that requires strength or speed has to utilize both twitch types, I just dont see joshua as a peak example of it.

Is Nistors brutalization of Joshua a touchy subject for you?

Well god bless that man because Joshua is 10x the fighter he was back then. Number 1 Heavyweight in the world. Do all the salty and bitter and jealous threads you want as it doesnt change anything. Vada are not going to read this thread and start doubling up on their random tests.

Usyk was never brutalized by Porter. Losing a couple decisions in the amateurs might happen to a great fighter its a part of learning.
But being brutalized like Joshua was you can't fix that. It's in his DNA and genetic make up to crumble like a sack of manure.

I know for a fact that Joshua was juicing before he even started boxing, so the OP isn't exactly accurate.

What are you talking about? He’s an exceptional sprinter. Unless you’ve done a muscle biopsy then that’s the best evidence you have that he is a fast twitch predominant athlete.
