Not really. It just goes to show how difficult it is to cross over to both sports. There both diffrent disciplines. Great striking in MMA doesnt translate to great striking in boxing and vice versa.
That guy looks awful, where does this rumor come from that he KO'ed Silva? I can't even imagine this tool even landed a punch on Silva much less KO him.
Maybe this guy should fight today's shot version of roy jones, if he can ko silva then surely he has a better chance at jones than silva. where are the guys that were shouting that silva can beat shot jones? come into this thread :|
In Silva's defense; this fight was 11 years ago, in his professional boxing debut against a fighter with a 10-2 record. It's safe to say a lot has changed since then. I would still agree that he is very much the under dog against Roy Jones, but I'm sure he's picked up some fundamentals since May of 1998.
