:deal JMM has asked for the rematch and has said that he would go to 135lbs or even 140lbs to get it. David Diaz struggled with a shot Eric Morales, a guy who Manny destroyed. On top of that he doesn't have a fan base. In essence, its a waste of a fight. Manny can get used to the weight just as well by fighting JMM.
Or, Pac could grab an easy title first, then fight JMM again if can't get a fight Campbell or Hatton.
Manny is going to get crushed by any lightweight ... you see how much trouble it was for Morales and Morales started off at a higher weight than Pac. I think that any lightweight would give PacMan trouble ... Zahir Raheem would box Manny's ears off. Raiymkulov would knock him out, Juan Diaz would knock him out, even green as a granny smith Amir Khan would knock him out.... these guys are too big naturally for him. That big a jump would definitely hurt his power and might effect his speed as well (speaking of PacMan) Oh and those guys I mentioned don't have titles either ... just the thought of a shot to beat this guy would make them bring out the best performance of their lives. I think that its a big mistake to jump up to that weight ... He should also take a page out of Morales' book ... all that moving up and down is not good for the body ... if he moves up and loses then rematches JMM then I see him tasting a nasty defeat ...
135 KOs JMM... I WANT to see the 3rd fight, but 135 is the weight where JMM's gonna get his first (big) KO loss... It's sad, that after 24 hard rounds he's only got a drew and an SD loss, but even 130 is bigger than his natural weight, which is 126... 135 is waaaay too much... If there's gonna be a rematch, the only weight where JMM can be competitive, is the same 130 pounds of the rematch... JMM is a FW fighter, PacMan in 2008 is a very stong LW fighter... Why not 130? Or make a rematch at 132!
