Boxing lost out when prince naseem retired. Now its just a dull fest where people are so desperate that an entertaining fighter is floyd mayweather and his "im a dawg im a gorrilla" shenanigans.
Plus that fight is made out to be something it really isnt. the only reason its considered as such a schooling is naseems response to it which was effectively hanging up the gloves. look at the scorecards.. also people are focused on the scenes of Nas flopping around the ring and coupled with Nas undefeated status at the time and his polarising personality..this was a peak hungry barrera against an unmotivated wild naseem

i was so happy when that dirty little cheat barrera got his ass handed to him by manny pacquaio a couple years later. Also Khan brutalising him

 

Naz was a very good fighter in his day, with a good resume. Fair enough fi you dont like him, but you have to be a clown if you dont respect his accomplishments.
