Margarito was deflated and clearly had other things on his mind other than the fight against Mosley after the plaster fiasco in the dressing room. He was better prepared and focused against Pac for sure.

Why dont you tell us the difference. Pac didn't stop Margarito was the difference right? Pac hits harder than Shane so if Pac couldn't stop him, it must've been a better version of Margarito is what a few of you are thinking just admit it.

Margaritos fans are thinking the opposite. They also seem to think that Pac hits harder than shane, and that since he took Pacs best, and stayed on his feet...it was a better version of Margarito, and not the weight drained Margarito that fight Shane smdh.

In theory, many of you need to either learn boxing or stop making excuses for the fighter who is of your nationality when they win a close fight, beat a guy badly but don't stop him, or lose.

...not to mention that he was ever more tenacious and relentless as he knew at that time it was his last chance at redemption. Nothing is fiercer than a wounded tiger fighting for survival.

Margarito was looking for a money fight with dlh after beating Cotto, didn't get one, and settled on Shane. Everyone thought Margaritos pressure would be too much for Shane forgetting Shane had the better chin and faster hands.

I get it now. Pac didn't stop Margarito, and Shane did, so Margarito was drained against Shane at 147, but 3 lbs more he wasnt drained against Pacquiao. Cotto wasn't drained at 145 which is only 2 lbs south of 147, but Margarito WAS 3 lbs less than 150 when he fought Shane. Gotcha! Wtf!

Had Pac not shown mercy on Margarito, and stopped him, this new found " Margarito was weight drained against Shane" excuse wouldn't have been uttered. Pac even fought a better version if Hatton based on his record at 140 too. Throw it all together lmao.

Nobody accepted Floyds excuse when he had a hurt arm against castillo, and the fact that he outweighed Floyd by like 13 lbs, and gave Floyd a tough with some saying Floyd lost...nevermind it was a close fight, yet Hatton is excused for losing to Floyd at 147 because 147 wasn't Hattons best fighting weight.

yeah just like pacquiao. the difference is, pac has proven that they could not beat him. floyd's victory are just etched in fantasy.
