now, why would marquez need herrera in his camp when he beat pac that many times? mexicans were just desperate to stop pac from defeating their fighters hence the herrera help. that is the only reason they persisted rematching pac until the win. now they don't want another rematch or they will lose that keeping good feeling. marquez just really bulked up on the last fight that he got stronger when he is supposed to be older. fights 1,2,3 he did not knock down pac even once.

It's funny how JMM fanboys and Pac haters discredit things like punch stats and anyone who scored fight for Pacquiao on that 3rd fight. YES, punch stats MATTER. Pacquiao out punched JMM in overall punches AND power punches. THIS MATTERS.. It doesn't necessarily mean the fighter who connected more won most rounds but there is a VERY HIGH CORRELATION between winning rounds and out punching the other fighter. In the VAST majority of cases, the winner out punches the loser, end of story.

It's funny how Lederman's 116-112 score of the 3rd fight is totally discredited as biased cause he's on HBO. Lederman is far from biased and he truly saw it as 116-112.

Here's my argument again. I'm not saying Pac clearly won the fight, there are arguments to be made Marquez deserved it but it was really really close and Pac actually out punched him. If any of you watch this fight closely, without being biased, you will see that many rounds you think went to JMM, could've easily gone to Pacquiao. It may also be the case that some may have thought JMM won some rounds more convincingly that Pac won his rounds but this doesn't matter. JMM could've won a few rounds convincingly but if Pac won most by edging him, Pac won, end of story. I also think that people give JMM too much credit for simply holding his own. Pacquiao has created this monster for himself where he has to destroy everyone so if someone challenges him, the challenger's performance is viewed as a win, whether he lost of not. Let's not forget a big mistake JMM made in the last round, where he sailed through it thinking he had the fight won, Pac won that round and it was a big tactical mistake by JMM and his corner. I think had JMM won that last round, fight would've been a draw based on how judges scored it.

My argument is still that this was NO ROBBERY, FAR FROM IT. It was close and could've gone either way, depending on how you weighted the punches in some rounds; these guys hit each other a lot.

Here's a link that shows a comprehensive list of people who scored the fight but it tries to be neutral by excluding mexican or philippine scorers.

    http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Manny_Pacquiao_vs._Juan_Manuel_Marquez_(3rd_meeting)

57 for Marquez, 51 for Pacquiao, 36 draw.

    so
    40% for JMM
    35% for Pac
    25% draw

As you can see, no-one can claim this was a robbery as many also though Paquiao won.

A robbery is Bradley's win over Pacquiao in first fight because 9/10 thought MP won the fight..very few had Bradley winning.

JMM vs MP 3 WAS FAR FROM A ROBBERY unless you are e mexican fanboy, Pac hater, END OF STORY.

Have you polished your Pac**** badge today?

It was Roach, and your fvcking idiot hero that kept wanting rematches, because they knew that EVERYONE was aware that he looked s&&t against Marquez.

It was fvck all to do with Mexicans demanding anything.

Pacquiao-Roidquez III was a case where because the guy that was expected to be blown out and/or knocked out didn't, and was actually highly competitive, people swayed their judgement w/ far more bias.

EVERYONE WAS SAYING THAT ROIDQUEZ WAS GOING TO BE KNOCKED OUT IN UNDER SIX ROUNDS.

Roidquez had been extremely vocal about beating Pacquiao in I and II going as far as printing t-shirts.

Yet when the winner was announced, Roidquez slithered out of the ring and went to sulk in the locker room. Roidquez had the opportunity to denounce the robbery - LIVE - and IN THE RING w/ Pacquiao, but he ran away to cry robbery.

Roidquez's face was BUSTED. Pacquiao had barely a mark on his face. There was FAR more facial damage on Pacquiao in I and II. And in III, Roidquez was juiced to the gills!

No, it was a case of pac being taken to boxing school and given a lesson in boxing by instructor Mr.Marquez. shut up pac****, pac lost the fight and everyone knew it, never had PAC ever been booed by the fans until jmm vs PAC 3. He fought and beat morales, Barrera and odlh who all had bigger Mexican drawing power then jmm. So the "there were a lot of Mexican fans" does not fly in this case. It is what it is, PAC was given a gift on the 3rd fight.

    And your whole "roid" b.s,

PAC denied testing for the Floyd fight & denied testing for jmm 3/4. So stop your crying sissy.

He has also stunned & gave pac the chicken legs in every single fight.

PAC and roach also admitted that pacquia was close to quitting in the jmm vs PAC 2 fight.

Its like these pac****s don't acknowledge facts.

stunned yea but I don't think I ever seen Pac get chicken legs even when Jmm knocked him down in the 4th fight he got up with steady legs.

Marquez dropped Pac twice in that fight.

I scored the 3rd fight for Marquez and I'm a pac fan

To me Marquez definitely won the third fight

He was impressive as hell in the first fight but I think he lost that one

Second one really was really close

Plenty of people on the night had it a draw, or very narrow for Bradley.

The consensus is that Bradley won, just as the consensus is that Pacquiao won in Bradley I, but people forget that a large majority consensus regarding the deserving winner doesn't change the fact that both fights were close and contained lots of rounds in which there were things you could favor on either side (Bradley's jabs & body shots vs. Pacquiao's flurries in many of their rounds; likewise Bradley's activity and accurate jabs vs. Marquez's counters and body shots)
