i picked jeff by ko though i was leading with my heart if the fight were at featherweight or superbantam weight or bantam weight i would really feel jeff would have the edge at the lower fights a good fight for fenech would be nonito at super bantam weight

Yeah I don't think Jeff's chin can take the power of Gamboa at 126 but strengthwise, he's been known to handle rugby players in the ring so while Gamboa has the power and technique edge, he'll be matched in strength and ferocity.

Gamboa could get a stoppage here...he has all of the tools to do it.

But I don't know..Salido was getting to him a bit to easily and isn't the same kind of animal Fenech is.

Jeff just wouldn't give YG a second to breath and set himself...He would use all kinds of dirty tricks to take Gamboa out of his comfort zone.

At this stage I'll say Fenech grinds out the decision win after dropping some early rounds...maybe in time Gamboa might show me he can take someone with the style and physicality of Jeff but thus far he hasn't really been in there with someone like him...and has been a little underwhelming against the closest examples.

Going for Gamboa on a (very) close decision, but I would cheer for Fenech to KO "El Chicken de Guantanamo" :yep
