Fine then, Oscar PAID the judges like you said. And let's not be fooled McGrain, Commission can suck. How did they pick the judges? Why not a lottery system draw? I'll stand by the overwhelming sample and my own eyes as to who won the fight. Now McGrain, what do you make of the below facts? If you take a tally of all the media people who scored the fight you get this: 96 = GGG won 20 = Draw 08 = Canelo won [includes 2 Golden Boy promoters] 96/124 = 77% had GGG winning the fight. 20/124 = 16% had a draw. 08/124 = 06% had Canelo winning the fight.
all pro sports are rigged to some extent. the announcers actually are more accurately cheerleaders. that is the state of things.
Look guys lets face it We ALL KNEW the fix was in & Canelo would get the decision BEFORE the opening bell rang. Even Bennett The NSAC Vegas boxing I especially Fishnets & Moonelo ALL Know WE KNOW it was corrupt. The sport is dying fast& iys a tragedy
Right. So we can have an end to "picked the judges." And we can agree that every single fight for any strap anywhere in the world sees the judges paid for by the promoter. To whit: it is proof of nothing. Here's what I make of it: It indicates that GGG won the fight. It does not indicate that the fight was fixed. The data you always, always, always exclude, because it doesn't fit your vision, is that the overwhelming majority of ringsiders scored the fight either by a point to GGG, by a point to Canelo or a draw. That matters too. Where does that leave us? It leaves with a fight that the majority saw very close that the majority saw for Golivkin. You want to use the data that indicates Golovkin won so you can shout "fix" and "robbery" - but you do not want to use the same data in determining how close the fight was because it indicates it was very close. You want to use "the data" when determining a true winner, but your own point of view when it comes to how close it was. Your claims of a fix are spurious at best, dishonest at worst. Knowing you, I suspect them to be dishonest - that your are suggesting that statistical evidence supports law-breaking when it, of course, does no such thing.
Also though the it was common knowledge going into the fight that canelo had two judges, the ref, and the commission in his pocket and ggg would need a ko no matter what happened to get a W. I guess there is more casuals in here then I thought.
Fix was in, suspected before hand and proven after. We just have to make sure it's not forgotten that it was a fix and that GGG won.
KiwiMan, post: 18777373, member: 113608"]Okay, let's do the maths properly. We accept the percentages: 77.4% GGG 16.1% Draw 6.5% Canelo Probability of GGG UD = 46.4% Probability of GGG MD = 28.9% Probability of GGG SD = 11.7% Total probability of GGG win = 87.0% Probability of Majority Draw = 6.5% Probability of Split Draw = 4.9% Probability of Unanimous Draw = 0.4% Total probability of draw = 11.8% Probability of Canelo SD = 1.0% Probability of Canelo MD = 0.2% Probability of Canelo UD = 0.0% This content is protected So if the judges were selected randomly, one would expect a draw or worse 13% of time. This partially shows why usually there will be complaints about the judges in close fights, in 53.6% of cases there is at least one card that does not have Golovkin winning despite 77% of the pool scoring it for him. However, the odds that the fight was fixed cannot be derived mathematically as not all the inputs are mathematical. ^^^ Top work KiwiMan, you nailed it. ^^^ - Mendoza
they had common knowledge that Canelo would get destroyed. Unfortunately it was false knowledge, so they replaced it with false knowledge of a fix. Fake beliefs of some fans are irrelevant as we shall 3G smash Canelo out come May.
