I think Wlad is more dominant than Floyd, but the opposition seems inferior.

It is always hard to compare the heavyweight champion with a champion from the lower weights.

Wlad is a super heavyweight who is extremely well coordinated for his size. He is bigger than most of his opponents and he is faster than those who are around his size, not to mention that his skills are superior to everyone in the division. It is usually the average or small sized heavies that are very skilled, but it is very difficult to fight such a big and skilled guy. Another thing is that Wladimir is very cautious. He rarely gets hit because of his style, but also because of the experience he has. Povetkin is a very special boxer, but he wasn't able to execute his plan as he wanted to because Klitschko prevented it from happening using his advantages. It will take some time until someone with Wlad's characteristics appears in the sport again.

Mayweather is a small guy who is not bigger than his opponents. He doesn't have that kind of advantage, but he is extremely talented and also more skilled than everyone is his division. He also plays it safe, he also uses his reach very well but he doesn't neutralize the opponents' attacks by holding. He is great at counter-punching while very difficult to hit. He is also fairly good at making adjustments if his game doesn't work. He is still very fast despite his age and he also didn't take much of a punishment throughout his career, therefore he is still able to fight at a high level and maintain the longevity.

As for the opposition, both boxers have beaten more or less the best available in their divisions. Wladimir is more dominant because his size and coordination are significantly helping him, while Floyd is also well coordinated but doesn't have such a size advantage over his opposition. Imo those are some of the reasons Wlad is more superior to his opposition that Floyd. Both had some notable and less notable wins recently and it will be interesting to see someone giving them a tough fight.

While I have more respect for Klitschko for the reasons that aren't strictly tied what they show inside the ring, both are great boxers that have left their marks in the sport.

how can you compare them when size wise they are miles apart. Floyd has made a living of beating bigger guys while Wlad has made a living in beating smaller guys. If Wlad was an undersized or regular sized HW then no one would rip him.

He gets ripped because he has all the advantages and is routinely fighting smaller men but all he does is stiff arm and hold. Let Floyd fight guys he has a huge size advantage on every figth and watch what he would do

equally incredible the athleticism wlad klitschko displays for being 250lbs.

the more you weigh, the harder it is to do some of the fancy **** mayweather does. most people dont get this because most people are small.

While they both rely on the jab, Floyd can fight inside, and Wlad can't. I see no similarities between the two.

I see a point in a comparison, they´re both great, Floyd in boxing, Wlad in wrestling.
