The worst thing is that he isn't just content with making money, he doesn't want anyone else to make it. The guy actually got annoyed because Mosley was wearing a green suit.

They aren't really HIS achievements as such. He fought guys who had an enormous fan following. ODLH was America's favourite fighter, and Ricky Hatton had an unbelievable amount of fans coming in from England. It was actually shocking how outnumbered the Americans were at their own home ground.

But of course, he'll attribute the PPV sales to himself.

 

so do you think he does huge numbers with Mosley? Im asking because i've heard this fight should do great numbers....Mosley has never been a big attraction, according to you Mayweather is not that much an attraction because Oscar and Ricky brought majority of the fans, and both fighters are American....so im curious to see what you think the numbers will be?

It will do big numbers because it's a superfight.

Mayweather, being one of the best fighters of our era, DOES bring fans, but not in the way Pacquaio, De La Hoya and Hatton do. The way he talks you would think everyone came because it was him fighting, whereas in reality equally as many people would have come for any big fight involving DLH or Hatton.

Hatton was on HBO BAD before Mayweather put him on Pay Per View Hattons popular in Britain, he aint **** in America.

De La Hoya didnt do **** with Trinidad and Mosley like he did with Mayweather. I think he did a mil with trinidad. Floyd and Oscar did 2.4 million. You saying that was all Oscar? Please.

As for Pacquiao, just look at common opponents. Mayweather double his **** against the same fighters he fought.

Floyd is easily a bigger draw then Hatton or Pacquiao, not as big as DLH, but the closer any boxer has been this era.
