THE MEDIA and Its Hating on The GREAT Black Fighters

Ray Leonard was the darling of the 76 Olympics , and was loved by all of the media, they hung on his every word. He was the highest paid fighter of the 80's (outside of tyson). He was black and not a bad fighter either.

 

Sweet Pea was never really hated on him, the media actually loved him and besides being screwed over in two fights (Chavez and DLH) he was well-liked within the boxing communtiy.

 

Its not the color, its the attitude.

 

I am in the media ? and isn't Manny black ? and throw everything out the window Manny is the greatest at 147 ?

 

As much as an animal Mike Tyson was in and out the ring, the media and fans still loved him. He provided entertainment in a brutal fashion that the boxing world craved.

The media as CNN anchor Rick Sanchez has pointed out, has neither skill nor talent, therefore their natural prozac-laced reaction is to lash out and control the destinies of those that do.

 

Being highest paid is irrelevant. PBF is the highest paid boxer on the planet and that doesn't mean he is loved by the media.:deal Ali was bashed by the media they covered him because he was a draw and controversial not becasue they liked him big difference there.

Black fighters are the only ones that have existed to the American media for last 40 years. How anyone can claim that they aren't getting a fair deal in the media is beyond me.
