If you are going to the fight, make sure you all use public transport, the scousers will have a ball with any motor cars that are left lying around just asking to be stolen :good Only joking, should be a good night, looks a very good card. Big up to Haymaker Promotions for putting this on.
thanks for the info hayemaker. I'm going with a pal who isn't that into boxing so there's no way I'll get him to watch all the fights. I don't want to miss the Groves fight upwards though - presumably that is the first one on the setanta prog at around 7.30?
not a bad line up actually. would have been brilliant with rhodes - small headlining, but the undercard is still quality. particularly looking forward to watson - gethin, the groves fight (if they show it) and price's debut
Gethin Watson should be a good en! :good Travelling up to this one, partly to support Gethin, partly cos its a good card. Gutted Rhodes aint on but still really looking forward to it, gonna be watching me wallet though! Only joking scousers! Gotta say fair play to the Hayemaker lot, making hard fights for some of their prospects (Watson Gethin, Groves and Price fight very good fights for only their 3rd and 1st pro fights) also for jumping past the 4 rounders straight into 6.
I have got tickets to this (won a competition in Boxing News) :happy:happy:happy But atm I've got no-one to go with :-(.
Poor ishy No work, no money, no beer, no mates interested in boxing something tells me im having a real **** night tomorrow
Good looking card but a real shame the main fights fell out. Hayemaker were very lucky to have the two scousers ready to fight each other to keep the local public interest up. I like the look of the undercard fights, some very interesting boxers on show but once again a shame a few of the fighters originally advertised are not on the bill. Well done to those involved for holding the card together and giving us fans value for money.
**** that, I bought my tickets ages ago for Rhodes-Small, Dodson-Magee and got a mate interested on the basis that Curtis Woodhouse the footballer was on the bill as advertised. So I'm already pretty pissed off. Then I see Adam Booth grinning like a cheshire cat on the bunce hour on about how if youre smart you'll not buy in advance, save the £7 PER TICKET booking fee and buy on the night. Thanks Adam, you twat.
