Michael Katsidis with Earl and now Amonsot. The Earl fight was in Feb of this year the Amonsot fight July of this year.

So Michael Katsidis has just produced 2 great wars in the last 6 months.
and your claiming he is ****.

More Wars less borefests like so many we see today. his style might get him into trouble but he is far from ****.

you put this guy in the ring with Diaz,Casamayor or Guzman and your going to get the same result a War. he might lose he might win.

oh and might i add the only men i see him losing to at 135 at the moment are Casamayor,Juan Diaz and Julio Diaz. everyone else i see him beating. that not exactly **** now is it.

 

Some sore losers in this thread, just give Katsidis a little credit and respect. Let us Aussie fans enjoy his win, and the fact fans like his style and courage.

Still my point is the fans of boxing are becoming stupid.

I mean its coming the norm people cheering for boring fighters like PBF,Spinks,Taylor,Winky.

Yet the fans say as soon as the next guy like Gatti comes along. oh he is ****. this is whats wrong with boxing. Why i say is this look what boxing has become a money hungry business where they dont care if Spinks and Taylor bore you to death because the people still pay to see it. now tell me what made the Winky vs B-Hop PPV was it there fight or was it Katsidis vs Amonsot.

Yes i see Katsidis beating all those guys and you know why. he has something the other guys dont have Heart and Courage. Gatti used this the same way and had 1000's of fans just like Katsidis will.

Its just a shame you would rather watch Taylor vs Spinks 2.

 

Katsidis was on top of Earl for most of the fight even if it was competitive, to say he would've smashed Katsidis is pure speculation, just respect the fact that there are fans who enjoy this type of fighter fluxstuff.

 

He puts punches together well, his hands aren't slow despite being heavy, his accuracy is quite good. He's still quite new and raw at the top level, we'll see how he adapts with this new level competition. Perhaps we'll see improvements in his defence perhaps we won't, but there's nothing stupid about being an exciting fighter, he'll make a good living out of it while he lasts, win or lose.

 

For the sake of boxing should Katsidis vs Raheem happen lets hope Katsidis knocks Raheem's head off, coz after that last borefest of his the quicker we get rid of him the better.

 

FLEXSTUFF this from a man that has 295 posts. The thing that im trying to say to you.

You fans forget that Earl was taking a beating and his corner wanted to stop the fight. the shots he was getting hit with where the heaviest he has ever been hit with. im pretty sure Earl went down 4 times in the fight. and Katsidis although going down once it was a flash knockdown.

And from what ive heard Earl since fighting Katsidis hasntbeen the same since from a few of his fans. and i believe you will find the same with Amonsot. Yes Katsidis gets hit alot but what you fail to realize is that Amonsot was the one that went down twice in the fight. his corner if they had any sense would have pulled there fighter out.

Now Amonsot might never be the same. so when you say Katsidis was getting schooled in both fights.
How can you be schooled when in both fights, Yes he was hit alot but in both fights he was hitting those guys with shots they have never felt before. Earl went down 4 times. Amonsot went down twice. Yet im the fool because i feel Katsidis was the far better fighter and can go toe 2 toe with anyone and not stop punching.

Yes his defense needs work but what happens when a 26 year old gets help with his defense. You can always teach a young guy like that. thats the bonus.

What i really hate is fans like you who come in here think you know everything then say things like Amonsot was winning and Earl was winning when clearly they were not.
Thats the sad thing.

hate to tell you this but some of us Aussie have been following Katsidis since the 2000 Olympics.

Sorry but there the facts now get a clue like i said.

ive seen the Ganoy fight were Katsidis beat the **** out of him in 5 rounds.
he did the same to Earl in 5 rounds.

Amonsot was a different fight, and i believ Amonsot's trainer let the fight go on to long and now Amonsot might never be the same.

Like i said ive known about this kid before he got good.
