No Matvey Korobov, fail. If you're listing guys like Zbik and Lee than Macklin deserves to be too.

Fail????...What exactly am I supposed to be passing? Didn't realize this list was a test you ******ed twat.

You're right I left out Korobov, not on purpose, this list was off the top of my head, I don't have a reference list of every potential Middleweight and didn't state that anyone not listed doesn't have a chance:patsch jesus

For those not excited about this division please tell me what other division has as much good young talent. I easily dropped 15 names off the top of my head that have a chance at being players in the future Middleweight landscape and there's no division in boxing besides Middle where I can see anything close to this for the near future with regards to young talent and people with excellent amateur pedigrees etc....

True, but honestly, I agree with the OP. Some of the lighter divisions (112 to 140) look good, but past that, and beyond Middleweight, the current prospects don't look great. At least, not as good as MW and some of the lower divs.

Once Martinez is out (he is 35, though he did begin late -- he may adapt his style, but as is, his boxing is more age sensitive than B-Hop), Lemieux is in IMO.

Edit: It's a good division, but honestly, I'm not hyped up. Just because it's a relatively good division doesn't mean it'll necessarily be amusing to watch -- namely in the case of JCC Jr. I am also unsure as to how much Kirkland has or has not deteriorated following his long lay off.

MW is going to be hot. The best thing about is that these guys are scattered from Canada, USA, Mexico, France, Germany, Russia and the UK. So if one of these guys wants to travel and take on all comers they could really put boxing back on the map. I'm pulling for Lemieux just because I'm French Canadian, I actually believe that Golovkin has the best shot. Hopefully he won't be one of those Germans who only fights in Germany.

the thing is there are enough belts for all to win one and still stay away from everybody else.. you give a belt to mexico one to canada and still have like six more belts to give.. champion super champ whatever they wont fight each other anyways

It would be an exiting division for sure! I'm looking forward to see those guys mix it up!

Lemieux will be ruling all those guys (yes i'm biased)

I know I missed out on Korobov but who else is missing? Dzinziruk I guess but I got a feeling Martinez is gonna KO him.

I haven't seen enough of Golovkin, suprised to see him getting so many votes.....youtube doesn't have enough of him for me to gauge, I gotta track down some more footage of this guy. Lemieux was my pick but I'm biased being a Canadian. I'm also suprised to see so many votes for him, good to see, didn't think his impact outside of Canada was that big yet.
