And bring some respect back to a once prestigious division!

Why does this division keep producing so many sucky champions? Kelly Pavlik, Felix Sturm, Jermain Taylor.... I wish certain people would stop hiding from Abraham so he could clean out the division and bring a little respect back to it.

Not great but a good one. Also Taylor is seriously underrated on here. He gave 2 p4p top5 fights a close fight, beat a former two-weightclass champion who you can´t look good against and lost 2 times to Pavlik but looked rather well both times.

He was contractually obligated to fight Taylor at SMW, I'll give him leeway for that, but Gary Lockett? This guy was barely even ranked, and now Pavlik's fighting someone that's not even a MW. Just because Pavlik has a more eye-catching style to Jermain Taylor, it doesn't mean he's in the same boat. HBO is overhyping him just as bad.

When looking at it from that perspective one can actually argue that Taylor might've even been a better champion than Pavlik.. ofcourse then you've gotta bring up the matter that he didn't even care to look impressive against the two 154 pounders he fought.

If that was the case then he'd be fighting Abraham, not a shot-old man that's not even a MW anymore. ( A shot old-man that I think has a good chance to win, as well )

Lockett was a mandatory you know, what you wanted him to vacate his belt? Abraham has a mandatory (Marquez) and I hope Pavlik will fight Abraham after Hopkins (it's not gonna be an easy fight).

Taylor elected to fight Pavlik, why doesn't Pavlik do the same.

If that ***** Felix Sturm grows some balls and finally gets knocked out by Abraham, Pavlik will have no choice but to fight him.

Why doesn't he unify with Sturm? Both fight in Germany. Then the winner could fight Pavlik.
