Fantastic! :yep I had noticed it was an eliminator, but didn't bother to take the time to place it in ABC context. This is very cool...I look forward to this fight.

Good win for Adamek, albeit, against someone he thoroughly outclassed. Does not say much about how a potential match-up with Cunningham may play out. I can really see Adamek-Cunningham going either way, but if Adamek pulls it off (which he is more than capable of doing), he may reign supreme amongst cruiserweights for some time to come.
King is trying to delay this fight(i knew he would because of his History with Team Adamek)and trying to get a Cunningham vs Mormeck fight lined up.
What is Mormecks ranking? Why would King do that? Trying to screw Adamek cause he wanted out of his contract with King? WTF???:fire
With Haye headed up to heavyweight, the winner of Cunningham's mandatory defense against former light heavyweight titleholder Tomasz Adamek will rightfully inherit the No. 1 position. The fight is due on or before Sept. 29, but promoter Don King may seek an exception in order to match Cunningham with former champ Jean-Marc Mormeck -- an idea that stinks. Dan Rafael ESPN Boxing writer. This is no shocker to me as i knew in the back of mind King would pull something like this. Cunningham is going through what Adamek went through while with King.He would rather have him sit and not fight then to have him fight someone and possibly all control of the title. If Adamek never signed with King right after he made his mark in the first Briggs fight he would at least have another 5-6 fights under his belt. They have until Sep 29th to make this fight.Adamek is in top form while Steve is collecting rust because of Con King.
