I was saying it that way for the longest time, because the first Adamek fight I ever saw was his fight with Briggs. Somehow, I got my hands on a DVD of that fight after it happened, and I think it was being commentated solo by Bob Sheridan and he kept saying it wrong, so that pronunciation stuck with me for a long while.
In the latest interview (easter's friday) adamek said that this week gonna be decisive , if they wont make any agreement with Roy The Pensacola Dancer , cuz of his fear , or problems with HbO , they will just pick high ranked common fighter to challange tomasz on showtime , BUT he also said that when its rank fighter ,they would like to make some clausule or something in the contract that gives them the possibility to eventually abandon this match , if any elite-pro0legend warrior shows up im not even adding source cuz its polisch..
