    What's the proper pronunciation for Adamek's name?


    Is it:

    Adam-eck

    ~or~

    a-dom-eck

    Have heard different announcers pronounce it each way.

    bokser.org says that RJJ doesn't want to fight Lacy. His priority fights now are Adamek or Clinton Woods. Damn, I would prefer some unification fight for Tomasz

    In the end of this movie you've got a proper pronunciation, by german speaker tho :D (of course 2nd 'a' is not so long - that's announcer's way of introducing).

    I was saying it that way for the longest time, because the first Adamek fight I ever saw was his fight with Briggs.

    Somehow, I got my hands on a DVD of that fight after it happened, and I think it was being commentated solo by Bob Sheridan and he kept saying it wrong, so that pronunciation stuck with me for a long while.

    In the latest interview (easter's friday) adamek said that this week gonna be decisive , if they wont make any agreement with Roy The Pensacola Dancer , cuz of his fear , or problems with HbO , they will just pick high ranked common fighter to challange tomasz on showtime
    , BUT he also said that when its rank fighter ,they would like to make some clausule or something in the contract that gives them the possibility to eventually abandon this match
    , if any elite-pro0legend warrior shows up

    Boxer Roy Jones Jr. says he has a verbal deal in place to fight fellow Floridian Jeff Lacy in July in Tampa, Fla.

    Jones will promote the fight through his Square Ring promotional company and said the undercard will again include some mixed martial arts bouts.
