Hey, you got it all wrong.

I'm just saying Adamek can make the best of both worlds. If there is a good fight at CW available, then take it, he is still the CW ring champ right?

He is not a natural HW, his body pretty much filled up at CW, he is fighting at 215lbs, just a few pounds over what he was doing on fight night as a CW.

At HW, he will be fighting too many times having to overcome the size disavantage.

Unless Sosnowski has improved alot, I think Adamek outboxes him. Better footspeed along with fast, accurate punches will be to much for Albert. He has a punchers chance, tough.

    Adamek will knock Sosnowski out.

He already said no to this fight in a video interview I saw. He says it would be a step down for him to fight either Sosnowski or Wlodarczyk.

yeah, however interesting these fights are, adamek wants the US TV money at this stage. which rules them out, sosnowski and wlod. i mean, it's hard enough for adamek to get the showtime and HBO money. vs fellow polish fighters the money will not be there.

who cares? adamek earned the right for a cash in and p4p he is a far better fighter than golota. and he has achieved more than golota ever will do. after struggling to get paydays, in the hard, hard fights, it's good that he could cash in a bit vs the maniac golota, which brought huge crowd and massive domestic TV audience. adamek tested the new weight, felt the strength of his opponent and took him out of there...estrada will be a brisker workout, with estrada having a good defense but little strength and power.

did evander holyfield not beat a shell of pinklon thomas to make his heavyweight debut?

is he really looking to fight arreola?

i've not heard anything about this. but i can see it makes sense. fight estrada, and hope to get showtime on board. fight arreola - in some kind of elim fight, perhaps - maybe on some HBO undercard. that way he can get the american money and the american recognition.

i figured he'd try to get a WBA elim vs chagaev or boytsov. force the mandatory vs haye. but if adamek can bring the US TV money, then obviously this will be just as effective in forcing the fight.

definitely. this is why adamek isn't interested in wlodarczyk, because it does nothing to raise him in the american market. let's hope he beats up estrada and arreola, gets showtime and HBO coverage, lands that title shot, and becomes a 3 weight world champion. if he succeeds, this could be the most interesting 3 weight achievement yet - because he is moving up 25-pounds or more to get to the next weight class!

    go adamek!

i can see adamek v arreola on a paul williams undercard. arreola is on every paul williams undercard. williams won't be short of HBO dates after surviving that war with the brilliant sergio martinez, and arreola will be right there as the supporting act, i reckon. unless it can justify a main event in itself.

Yes, I spoke to both. I asked Adamek a few questions about the Golota fight, his opinion of David Haye, and some questions about his upcoming fight with Estrada (whom I only spoke to very briefly).

Ziggy Rozalski said that yesterday called him Kerry Davis from HBO and offered a fight with Arreola on April 24th in California. Adamek has to win with Estrada though. There isn't much time between the fights - 11 weeks.

luckily he has done this kind of thing before, 12 brutal rds v cunningham, wins title, defends vs power punching banks couple of months later. hopefully he can do it at heavyweight.

how much will the HBO date affect adamek's strategy/performance vs estrada? will it be, say, a less aggressive performance? will he be saving something for the next fight? or will he be looking to impress, maybe even overanxious?

The more important question is how will potential
lose to Estrada affect his offer to fight Arreola?

Im almost surprised they don't cancel the Estrada fight and replace him with Arreola.

Question: do you think with such a short turnaround that HBO wants Adamek to lose?

Also here's hoping this doesn't affect Adamek's perfomance (lookin past) Estrada.

That is wise move. The more time they give Arreola to get fatter, the better;)
