Arreola should duck him, though. If he's gonna make a comeback he'll just get outboxed by adamek. Arreola needs more time to get into shape. But, I would like to see the fight.
re golota. a very talented fighter. but bowe had been in a gruelling trilogy with evander holyfield. his dedication was always suspect, and he long struggled with weight. in the first holyfield fight, everyone was shocked that he came in at what, 230-240? after that he had terrible problems due to greed, weight, lax approach to training. golota gave him a shock. golota could have won. but he didn't. then when golota got THE BIG ONE, he was decimated by lennox lewis. one of the most one sided world title fights you'll ever see. golota is a nearly man. adamek might be a 3 weight world champ, this year or next year. there is no comparison.
i reckon adamek beats estrada. but estrada will probably make it ugly. adamek might be slower, as he is getting bigger, trying to grow into the weight. this won't be a fast, fleet footed display, as was the goota fight. i think estrada will spoil, when he realises he hasn't the stamina to last the pace. for me, adamek wins ugly. meanwhile, arreola will find a way out. if adamek doesn't look hot, maybe arreola's ppl will rely on HBO giving him a switcheroo opponent. IF adamek looks devastating, destroys estrada, methinks arreola's ppl find a way out, to save his career. if i was arreola, i'd take the HBO money, and improve my career by beating a genuine world champion, even if it's a smaller fighter (adamek). he just got whipped by a world champ that was too big. so, do what the golden boy fighters do. pick on someone smaller, with a big reputation.
No , not really, the only good payday from this station adamek had in the last fight with golota , but thats not a surprise since adamek usually fights in the middle of the night(here) when not That many ppl are watching... so they dont earn huge money from commercials to pay him ,also Polsat didnt really have to fight for that contract with any competition as thats the only channel in present(along with its "polsat sport") that broadcasts and is interested in boxing in poland.
Estrada will look for his chance and attack and he will be punished by Adameks sharp punches in the middle of the fight. I am just curious how tough is Estrada. Maybe I am wrong and he can survive 12 rounds with Adamek... Althought I believe that it will not last as long :smoke Anyway it will be very interesting fight :thumbsup
In reality, Adamek has to have balls the size of church bells to fight Arreola. If he beats Arreola it will be a huge win for him. This will set up a huge fight against Vitali or Vlad.
i think it could be ugly. i believe estrada will spoil, like banks did early on. there was one cruiserweight fight, in germany, on an undercard, where adamek didn't look great. he fouht some short, spoiling guy, and won on points over 10 rounds. the opponent didn't offer much offense, but used lots of defense. so it was hard for adamek to land lots of good shots. i might be wrong. maybe estrada will try to knock out the former light heavy and cruiser champion. reckon estrada gets tired, does lots of defending, and a little bit of counter punching. probably he will try to spoil adamek's work. this is how i see it happening. it will be a good learning fight, rather than a great showcase.
