    You are incorrect.

(But you're extraordinarily biased towards Mexicans so it was to be expected I guess)

    As are you.

Damn right! Was hoping he'd fight Linares but this is just as good, if not better seeing as Rios is a *****.

He's finally getting big fights. After this he's shattering the glass jaw of Linares.

I was certain he was getting the Linares fight and that's why he fought Cordoba, to just shed some rust. Linares was in the ring afterwards and posing with Miguel and stuff. I dont know, hopefully after the Rios fight he'll get Linares. Though I'm praying it's not in Venezuela. It's going to be ****ing difficult to try and watch that if it's in Venezuela.

Acosta seems to have no problem going abroad and Linares is always televised in Japan so I wouldn't mind if it was there.

Probably the most under-rated or under-appreciated part about him, always fighting his biggest fights away from home - and winning. José Alfaro in Nicaragua, Antillon in Mexico, Moses in Namibia and Adjaho - whilst in the US - was his first fight in the US and Adjaho had been fighting out of the States for a while.

Anywhere other than South America. It's a nightmare trying to find fights. Linares wasnt supposed to be fighting in Japan anymore after the Salgado fight. The plan was for that to be like his going away present to them and for Golden Boy to make him a star in the US. But as we know he got knocked out. I know he fought Chavez in Japan but I can see it being on a Golden Boy undercard if I'm honest. Try to get him some exposure in the US by winning a title(which wont happen if it's vs Acosta).

    :think

Martinez is with DiBella though so I cant see it. It'll probably be in the Summer/early Autumn so we'll have to see what Oscar comes up with.

Probably shove it on a Marquez undercard or some ****. Once it's televised I don't give a **** where it is.

Or maybe he'll be the one that fights Marquez.:hey

Which isnt likely, but JMM isnt one to turn a challenge down.

I think he's too high-risk/low-reward for Marquez at the moment. After he kills Rios it may be a different story though.
