And but for Dundee's intervention with Ali's glove, he gets knocked out by Henry Cooper. And Tillis gave him a hell of a scrapatsch No he didnt, he posed a few problems but Tyson was in control for every round.
You gotta stop smoking that ****.....Tyson struggled with bums in the 80's and was handed his ass by Buster Douglas and im suppose to believe he is gonna beat any of these guys....Lewis and Holyfield owned and would have always owned him(I know your gonna say he wasnt in his PRIME or distarcted but thats pure bull****, as it seems to be the favorite excuse for fanboys on why the limited Tyson lost).Mike was a pure Don King smoke and mirrors hype machine and his era is as weak as today's is if not weaker....but he was an American, so it doesnt count and we get to hear he is great ,kills all and all this other nonsense that he never proved in the ring.
tyson beats ali holmes is a toss up fight in a 15 rder id go with larry holyfield vs prime tyson is a toss up someone gets koed could be either lewis is a toss up fight but id have to go with tyson by ko and foreman kos tyson its not even close to 50 50 its a style **** for tyson
No argument about if with Haye, just a matter of when. On the greats: IMHO, both Foreman and Louis would've proven stylistic hurdles for Mike (it's them uppercuts, man). Ali probably wouldn't have KO'd him but befuddle his way to a decision and sadly, even tho' I'm a big Frazier fan, he would've just been fighting a faster, stronger near-similar version of himself.
very similar result, although I think Haye would try and land his right hand before being knocked out which could make Tyson less controlled to land those body punches on the ropes like he did on Spinks. Mike was great, but when someone could land a decent punch on him early, it threw Mike's offense off a little where he had to regroup.
You realise that Tyson was at his best when with Cayton and Jacobs, and went into sharp decline when King replaced Rooney with Bright and the other joker? Ye, Tyson was in his Prime when he fought Lewis, at 36. Ye, most guys loaded with fast twitch fibres get more explosive after 35.:nut He'd had 1 meaningful fight in 4 years before he fought Holyfield, v Bruno and that was a mismatch as Bruno was terrified. He'd been completely inactive for 3.5 of those years, but ye, he was in his prime.:nut Oh and Im Scottish, so I couldnt give a **** if he was from Timbuktu pal, what Im saying is at his best, he was a match for anybody, ever. Never mind the incredibly over-rated Holyfield, and Lewis.
I see a Tyson vs Biggs kinda fight except Haye wouldnt last to the 7th while Tyson kept him up juts to punish him. He might try to keep Haye up but Haye crumbles in 3 or 4 rounds.
Bruno was a natural big strong heavyweight who's chin is underrated it isnt as bad as its made out to be and on not of that Bruno had a great jab and could hit like a ****ing mule. Haye with his cocky hands at his side chin out there to be hit lazy jab is just begging Tyson to run right through him.
And anyone that think Louis stands any kinda chance vs Tyson is smoking the nostalgic crack pipe. Louis never seen anything like Tyson before. Tyson speed, power and explodsiveness who run a train on poor stone foot Joe. And no head movement? Ha! his head would be on a tee for Mike.
Yet both Lewis and Holyfield hold wins over ATG, whereas Tyson's only "ATG" win is over an old, over the hill man who had been inactive for 2 years. Overrated, eh? atsch
