I thought you said macklin was his first test, then geale, then Rubio...immediately afterwards they become 'bums' Just because golovkin destroyed them doesn't mean they weren't tests, ever heard of passing a test with flying colours? What if golovkin were to beat ward or froch does that then mean they weren't a test either? I'd like to hear from some of the people still saying he's un tested.
The only people who thought Rubio would test Golovkin were those who have never watched Rubio or perhaps either of them ever before. Geale and Macklin are his best wins and the only opponents who were clear cut, not debatable, top 10 MW's that he has faced.
Umm Im in the miniority and Ive never ever thought or claimed that Macklin, Geale, and Rubio were any kind of " test " haha.. Anybody who knows boxing can agree that GGG had it easy so far..
his very tested and middleweight isn't weak, if it was why wouldn't all the guys at 154 and 168 try to fight in the marquee middleweight division where they would make more money and supposibly have easy fights
I see both points. I think he has been tested enough to prove he is the best in the division but at the same time he has not been tested enough to prove he is better than anyone at SMW not by a long shot.
lol he's not a SMW, you're better off talking JMW like Groves said. Look at the guy and his build: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dH6k2wFZewU
