    He doesn't have to weigh in at 168. He can weigh in at 162-163. Just put on a few pounds of muscle and that's it. Floyd would always weigh 149-150 for his 154 pound fights.

    who said ward was desperate?

    he has a 3 fight deal with hbo and a clash with kovalev on the horizon...doesnt sound like desperation......ward just wanted to fight with the "so called" best

    please think realistic.....he will never fight kovalev. he won`t even fight somebody relevant at light heavyweight in his 3 fight deal.

    Why would Haymon spend 4+ million dollars on a b- level prospect who very well may not be able to fight again after GGG, lol. He's going to throw Wade to the wolves. If it was Jacobs, I could see Haymon MAYBE cashing out but not Wade.

    That's not even including how PBC is making their budget tight this year, and rumors have it they're hurting for more revenue.

    I haven't followed closely beyond glancing at mentions I've seen of it here. And I was just speculating in any case, but the thought did cross my mind that a purse bid would end with some political nonsense where GGG's people lost the bid, and the bout was held somewhere other than HBO in an attempt to have Gennady unceremoniously stripped where Al could try to then keep that belt in house.

    ggg is not a big middleweight and should stay at 160
    i do not agree with all the weight jumping and picking easy defenses that goes on
    stay at 160 and fight the best available
