Miranda with good fundamentals would be a serious force in the division, but if the beating he took from Pavlik did not show him his own flaws, I doubt if anything ever will.
Miranda with good fundamentals would be worth at least 20 mil a fight. Apparently this dummy doesn't know his own potential.
Miranda tested Ward very hard. Edison went back and forth with Pavlik b4 getting stopped. The Columbian should of won his first encounter with Arthur Abraham. EM is a stiff test for the elite at this point of his career.
I think your geographic location is interfering with your analysis. I have the raw footage of Abraham/Miranda one. I think Miranda was robbed. Even in his second encounter he out boxed AA for a few rounds. But this fight? Measure left swing the right, repeat..... I was very disappointed by Miranda's effort. I've seen him much better. Ward deserves some credit, but come on.....
What is so difficult to understand about Abraham is not getting "outboxed" but simply WAITS for his openings, and to save energy ? Abraham was outboxed exactly ONCE, that was when Miranda landed a trickpunch immediately breaking his jaws in several places causing massive bleeding. Miranda would have won that fight easily (based on Abraham fading extremely after 7 rounds due to blood loss) IF he hadn't started to lowblow and headbutt whenever he had the chance to do so. It's not robbery, it's RULES. Do you want to have boxing matches go over without any rules enforced ? Welcome to the dreaded lowblow uppercut combo, Danny Williams style. Headbutts ? Hey, that is just sliiiiick boxing, duuuudes ! Right. Lets legalize GnP in a boxing match also.
