Hope it flopped. Showtime might put pressure on Schaefer and Floyd to make a mega fight..There's really only one guy left..

that was not a stacked card, please stacked would have been with great matchups, these were more of the glorified sparring types

Khan has not looked impressive, luis had just came off a ko over quitiz. Also have you not checked collazos resume? Lost some controversial fights over good names.

Broner coming off a loss over chino

chino coming off a impressive win over broner.

if pac was fighting ruslan you guys would go ape sh*t about how pac faces the best and is taking dangerous fights, yet midana has a resume with way better names then ruslan, brutal brawler yet the fight was "meaningless" for floyd.

The thing I dont get is you have a promoter "bobby" basically saying "**** the undercards fans will throw $65 any way whether card is good or not" and these so called fans "*******s" act as if he never said it. If you think your money is worth one good fight then its you, but I rather watch entertaining fights the whole card.

I'm sure some execs up in Showtime, etc are gonna be pissed. It's gonna leave a dirty used taste behind.

Pac bradley 2 was all hype, pac had already beat bradley and giving bradley the w the first time was just part of good ol bobs plan to recycle fights and act as if the fights are worth a rematch. Its obvious bob has no competition for pac, so were going to see pacs final fights be wasted away. Maybe pac would make floyd fight competitive but I guess we will never know seeing how bob is going to give us fights we have already seen with pac.

the way it's going, i don't think espinoza is going to last until floyd's contract is done.

Just remember - its not Showtime underwriting Floyds guarantees. Its mothership CBS. They could care less if they lose a few million. The Floyd/Hamyon/GBP deal has brought a lot of talent to SHO, and made them a major player. CBS will be gauging the effectiveness of the expense based on how SHO Sports does overall compared to 2 years ago, and on things like brand image. You know, big picture things.

Just as one tiny piece, think of how often Showtime was mentioned due to Mayweather on other sports channels, sports websites, blogs etc. Think of that value in terms of advertising and brand recognition. And even that is a small piece. Multibillion dollar conglomerates tend to look at strategy in the big picture, whether one fight gains or loses a few million dollars is insignificant.

valid points, but, they are still in the business of making money. if floyd can make them more money fighting a fighter other than the one he prefers, then it is good business to go after the bigger profit.
loss of revenue is never encouraged.

If this doesnt do more than 800k what will be the fair split for Mayweather V Pac? Would Pac beating a top 3 p4p'er in Bradley have any sway in this this hypothetical negotiation?
