The moment of truth for Joe and Mikkel...one at the tail end of his prime and one just reaching its prime....masterboxer/speed vs. power/boxer..this will be the defining bout for Joe C., far more hanging on this fight for Calzaghe than for Kessler. Kessler is young and he potentially can handle a defeat, as long as it is not a Lacy Whopping type...but I am not expecting that type of fight here...Kessler will come to fight and match Joe C. on styles point, speed points, and power points which IMO should favor Kessler.....The height advantage will be a psychological advantage for Kessler, but the southpaw stance and quick reflexers will be adavantage for Joe C., the reach is the same, but I believe that Kessler will be stronger of the two and will charge Joe C. trying to cut the ring and attack the body....Joe C. could fight slug fest as he did with Byron Mitchell, beware that was nearly 5 years ago...so...
It is intriguing and this will be as even match as I can remember in a while for boxers of this calyber...something tells me that Kessler will have the intangibles advantage, while Joe C. will ahve experinece on his side.....

When all is said and done, I see the Ref raising Kessler left arm in close and battle tested fight......

But if Joe C. has Kessler in trouble before the 7th it might be all she wrote for Mikkel , unless he show us he can respond facing adversity....

Agreed...this fight defines both fighter's careers. A win would be HUGE for both of them and there is absolutely no question that both are going to leave it all in the ring.

    I like Calzaghe by UD

Joe C. got more to lose...so he will be keyed on...Kessler can stand a losing as long as is not a whopping ala Lacy...

I like Kessler close UD....possible late stoppage....

I don't think nobody is going to try to cruise on this fight even if they are winning also...now one thing regarding Holy, he was not able to rallt because in all honesty he had no business on this fight for starters...

Joe C. will need to watch the well schooled Kessler.....I still like Kessler on this fight
