When did Hughie Fury land brutal body shots throughout the fight?

And tell me when did Fury force Parker to keep loosening the tape on his gloves to buy himself breathers?

Better yet, why don't you show me little man when this actually happened in their fight?

    Lol

The ref wasn't on anyone's side, if they were allowed to fight on the inside Joshua would have hurt him and finished him.

Bought ref be fkt.... Gtfoh, it was poor reffing but hardly in aj's favour...

All these threads are just silly, why can't ppl just watch boxing and accept it for what it is without constantly looking for things that aren't there, lots of the threads on here are just ridiculous..

    Pmsl..

Parker was never beating aj, he just isn't good enough.... Why ppl even thought he would after watching his prior fights I'll never know... Beats the sh!t out of me!

I fail to see how anyone can think the ref somehow helped AJ in the fight. The ref did neither fighter any favours.

    Parker didn't land anything lol.

The fight went exactly as i told fools like you pre-fight.....and you still can't admit you're wrong.

    I'll even quote myself -
"If you're losing 3-6 rounds against Takam/Ruiz then you're losing 10-12 rounds against Joshua".

"It was too easy for Joshua" - Carlos Takam

I can't tell whether he was hurt or whether we was trying to avoid the right hand parker was about to throw....

What i do know is that...

    A) The ref was nowhere near the action
    B) Parker didn't think he was hurt
    C) Joshua 'recovered' instantly (If he was hurt, and not trying to avoid the right)

It is a bit odd to see a ref jump in after a clean punch is landed. Putting all conspiracy theories to one side, that's still a tad bizarre.

Some of you guys need to watch in slow mo.....Parker doesn't land.

Parker swings his right, Joshua blocks it and then tries to return but Parker holds.

43:12 - 43:20 on the slowest speed and you can see it all.

Parker is ducking and trying to hold.

Actually I recall the ref intervening to the benefit of Parker a couple of times too. This thread should be more about the ref than either primarily either Parker or Joshua. This ref basically ruined the fight with his puzzling calls for breaks. Might've even been a great fight if the third man in the ring was someone else instead we got a staid boring affair.

I was the only one remonstrating about the interventions in a room full of people, with nobody else seeming to comprehend that some good action was being obstructed. Abysmal (and rather dubious) officiating. With that said, I don't think Joshua was on the verge of being knocked out in either instance, nor do I think he couldn't have defused any trouble without the premature involvement of Quartarone -- moreover, if Joe had been capable of launching sustained raids on Joshua, we would've seen more attempts to do so, and not just after he'd landed a good counter in response to a spot of Joshua pressure early in the 6th.
