The Archie Moore that fought Marciano versus the other guys that challenged Rocky as they were then .ie

    Charles x2
    Walcott,[ second fight]
    Lastarza[second fight]
    ****ell
    How does Archie do?

well he lost to Ezzard Charles more than once, but that was at a different time and in a different class. Still I think Charles was the better heavyweight and would have beaten him. Same answer for Walcott. Lastarza and c-ckell are the only two of that bunch I'd pick him to beat.. Also if we ad an aged Joe Louis in there, it might have been a good fight.

    Good question.

I think he'd lose to Charles, seeing as though he lost to Ezzard every time they fought. Walcott (first) I think that version of Jersey Joe would have beaten any other heavy at the time not named Marciano.
I think if he and Marciano fought ten times, that version of Walcott wins maybe half the time. He was brilliant that night, so I'd have to pick Walcott here.
Walcott (2nd fight) hard to say...that Walcott seemed to pack it in once Rocky landed flush, so I have to question his desire at this point.
I can see a Moore victory here because he'd want it more.

LaStarza (first) may not have had the experience needed to deal with the wily Moore, but the second time he fought Marciano he was more seasoned and I think that version could trouble Moore, if not win. I'm not too sure about Roland to be honest.

Don C....well, I don't think anyone would pick him to beat Moore. That would be a stretch to me. He'd lose gallantly, pretty much as he did against Marciano.
