The main difference between Kessler and Calzaghe was that Calzaghe was able to adapt to every move Kessler made. He's a much more intelligent fighter than I thought before that fight.

I agree with the threadstarter, even though Calzaghe manages to control the fight with his jab in the second part and would probably be able to do it in a second fight, I would pay money to see them fight again.

No breaks or slow periods in the fight, and the highest skill-level. People who favour this version of Hopkins against Calzaghe are doing it out of nostalgic reasons, I think. IMO he has close to 0% chance of winning this one with his footwork and work rate.

I just hope that Kessler as the secondbest is able to get big name-opponents in the future - I would rather see him fight Miranda, Taylor or Pavlik than wait around for Bute, Froch or Mundine...
