Agreed:good I feel a bit bad as well cause i do like him...he well just hasnt done much in 44 fights....I hope he beats Popkins however any true LHW would CRUSH Joe....Could you imagine the carnage if Diaconu or Dawson got a hold of him??? However if Joe beats Popkins he'll become even more overrated on here so then I'll pray he fights Pavlik to get a beatdown...Pavlik will even go to Joes home at the Cardiff Ice Rink and beat him:good
Sure, even though I've predicted nearly every fight under the sun correctly here for the last 6 months.:yep
I'm sure your a legend in your own mind.. on this site however your a troll with no credibility The more you post the more people realize this...so keep it up:good
Joe Calzaghe is a very very good boxer! Is that bias? Is that a bull**** statement? I like chicken more than Beef, that doesnt mean that Beef is CRAP, it just means I prefer one to the other. I.e Calzaghe/Hopkins.
What are you supposed to be?? The next Teddy Atlas with your gay ass analogies Yea Joe's a great boxer that beat two DECENT fighters in 44 fights Is that Great?? Maybe in your mind but not to the rest of boxing fans not on planet Calzaghe
Eh? Who said "great" you did. Who said anything about records? you did. If your that anxious and tense, look up some porn on the internet instead of wanting to be a Internet Warrior.:happy
Just because you cant verbally counter the facts I've presented you I guess I'm an Internet Warrior?? It's more than laughable you cant pick apart what I've said and be legitimate so you bring porn up? what are you 10?
The main difference between Kessler and Calzaghe was that Calzaghe was able to adapt to every move Kessler made. He's a much more intelligent fighter than I thought before that fight. I agree with the threadstarter, even though Calzaghe manages to control the fight with his jab in the second part and would probably be able to do it in a second fight, I would pay money to see them fight again. No breaks or slow periods in the fight, and the highest skill-level. People who favour this version of Hopkins against Calzaghe are doing it out of nostalgic reasons, I think. IMO he has close to 0% chance of winning this one with his footwork and work rate. I just hope that Kessler as the secondbest is able to get big name-opponents in the future - I would rather see him fight Miranda, Taylor or Pavlik than wait around for Bute, Froch or Mundine...
I think it was Ring this month that called Kessler the "2nd best in the division" and pointed out that he had "brought his A game" and still couldn't get the job done against a man who has proven himself a great champ. Hopkins, Dawson, Woods would seal the deal, be beautiful.
Calzaghe made him look **** in the last 7 rounds cos thats just how unbelievably good Calzaghe can be.
I agree with the above. He set a tempo that a young, tough fighter couldn't follow, and he also extended his lead so Kessler had to fight desperate. Which he did in admirable fashion. He launched some wicked bombs.
