Pac will beat him up. Cotto as strong as he is is pretty much tailor made for a southpaw. And if he thinks Pac will just stand there and let himself be overpowered he has another thing coming. And if he comes down to 144 to take this fight his chin will be there for the taking as well.

If its at a catchweight i'll definitely put money on Pac by KO. Though thats a lot of ifs, Cotto getting past Clottey certainly isn't a sure bet.

As biased and hateful as it may sound hatton and cotto are much more different then they are similar. There was a point in both their careers when boxing analyst and fans alike flet they where cut from the same cloth. Fundamentally speaking the two are vastly different and cotto can surely box, he's shown he can deal with speedsters and a bout vs pacman is a pure toss up.

cotto had some tough moments with Zab Judah..and like Zab he's a hard punching very fast southpaw. pac isn't quite as fast as Judah, but he has way more endurance, character and will.

I agree, if it's at a weight lower than 145 then i give it to Pacman but at 147 i'm giving it to Cotto. Hey, even Tyson, Ali, sugar ray, Chavez lost. Not one fighter is invincible unless he dodges fighters and pacman does not.

Let's see if floyd takes the fights and does not complain about everything. Floyd avoided cotto, hopkins. mosley, margarito, etc.

Hmmm... people read too much in to the Hatton win. Cotto wouldn't come out with that complete disregard for defence that Hatton did - he's a much more complete fighter than Hatton is.

I'd pick Cotto, but it'd be closer than people used to think. Cotto would have demolished Hatton as well, but it would have been a brutal beating over 7 rounds or so.
