Glad one of you finally showed up.

Can you tell me why or how he had this infection cleared up to fight Mora, he was clear to fight Rubio and now all of a sudden it comes back?

I'm not a doctor; you'll have to ask boo on that one. Given that it's an infection, though, I'd imagine it's possibly for it to take hold of a particular area but not turn into something too menacing until later. What seems likely is that Pavlik had this problem a while back (pre-Rubio?); it didn't seem too serious; he ignored it; it resurfaced in training camp pre-Mora and he used it as an excuse to get out of the fight, had only partial treatment and now it's come back.

The Mora fight?! Do you blame him? You guys would have eaten him alive on here if he had taken that fight!

The only opponents Pavlik has CHOSEN to face in the last two years are: Bernard Hopkins and Paul Williams. I for one wouldn't want Sergio Moron corrupting that record.

Isn't that the guy from the contender?

He lost to Calzahge and Bute right? Good tough fighter, i enjoyed his fight with Cordington...but he is very limited fighter.

Has had title shots against Beyer and Calzaghe, plus an eliminator against Bute. Not sure who he has been avoided by at all.

I answered boo's post in that other thread. But no matter how I feel on this, if he does have MRSA, it does clear up and go away with no warning. Some people get it and never see a sign of it again...others get it all the time.

He shoud shoot who ever made that fight in the head. But then he should have just said I'm not fighting this undeserving chump who just lost to a Jr. Mw champ. He didn't have to lie.

Pavlik is injured, if he's scared the fight wasn't going to be signed anyway and they would have pulled out of the negotiations with whatever excuse they wanted.

I'm sorry I just don't get how a world class boxer gets this in his hands and is not properly get attended to. This has been an issue since may. Why even negotiate a long hard fight if your not taking care of yourself.

True. :good:good Paul avenged that loss by KO1. It don't get no better than that in boxing.

On the other hand, BHop is Pavlik's daddy. :smoke I still picked KP to beat Paul in this fight. I can't believe the ****'s in jeopardy now.

I see what your saying...but what I mean is, it doesnt matter how well he takes care of himself. If he got it in May, it might not show up again even in the smallest incantation. Then a small cut might make it come back worse than it ever was.

Boo was right in the fact of how MRSA can disappear and reappear without warning...but was a bit overboard in how dangerous to Kelly's short or long term health.
