1. 147 : Thurman, Porter, Spence, Brook, Broner, D. Garcia, Khan, Bradley 2. +200 : Klitschko, Fury, Joshua, Haye, Wilder, Ortiz 3. 175 : Kovalev, Ward, Stevenson, Beterbiev What do you think ?
The most competitive division is cruiserweight without any doubt because a lot of fighters are good. There may not be an elite cruiser right now (Usyk can be) but there are a lot of good ones that are on similar level.
126 has a lot of names if they decide to actually fight each other. The real "HOT" Division should be 154. When Mayweather vacated those dudes should have been at each others throats for those titles. It could have been 3 fights a month to thin out the herd. They knew in their heart of hearts that Floyd would never fight any of those guys.
for my money 112 and 115 divs is where it's at. Chocolatitio, Cuadras, Inoue, Estrada, Ioka + some very good supporting players.
I'm loving heavyweight. Ton of great match ups there and since they have to stay in the same division they'll most likely happen(eventually).
Featherweight: Mares, Cuellar, Santa Cruz, Avila, Valdez, Diaz Jr., Selby, Russell Jr., Vetyeka, Escandon, Warrington, Lara, Magdaleno, Frampton, Caballero, Ortega, Lopez, Ramirez, Castellanos, Rios, Sonsona, and Hunter It's a crazy competitive division. You even have prospects that might beat some of the beltholders. I think since Makabu lost so bad to Bellew, it might surpass cruiserweight for the moment. Even a fighter like Castellanos is capable of pulling off an upset. Cruiserweight: Lebedev, Drozd, Usyk, Briedis, Huck, Arslan, Dorticos, Kalenga, Gassiev, Kudrashov, Kucher, Glowacki Not really a ton of names I could come up with. Bellew, Makabu, and Mchunu really messed this up.
Wtf. "Most competitive" then names four fighters. It's cruiserweight, flyweight, featherweight and 130 is heating up because those boxers actually fight each other.
154 is the hot spot for me. It's about to explode with all that talent it has. Lara, the Charlos Demetrius, J Rock, Lubin, Canelo, and there's a fighter that is about to come to light in my opinion and that's Jarret Hurd. He will be showcased on the under card of Thurman vs Porter. Check him out.
It's about time Haymon quits holding out and matches some of these cats against each other. As of now it seems like the only guys who get to fight the rest are Vanes and Trout
