 not getting stopped but getting totally owned is "not doing so bad" these days? He had a good chin, if he hadn´t one he wouldn´t even have been a fringe contender.

Tua never got totally owned . His worst loss (and maybe his only true loss) to Lewis was not a total ownage .

You're forgetting about all those face shots Tua landed on Lewis's left glove.

He had a good chin and an even better punch. Too bad for him he didn't have the reach to make that punch land more often , it is also a reason to why he was so limited to using the hook and not straight punches . He did jab actually , but what is the use of jabbing when you are 5'9" and having a 69" reach when you fight a 6'4" guy with 81" ?
What does this have to do with skill ?
Skill is to know when not to try doing this and when to do , and then to know how .

Tua was an undersized, relative unskilled, fat slob with a good chin and punch. Like I said a fringe contender. Nothing special. And Lewis owned him.

Holmes-Shavers I. Larry took 34 of the 36 minutes contested, flew around the ring counterclockwise, and dominated a top contender who many felt deserved to win the undisputed title on the cards in his previous bout against an ATG. Holmes got an official 120-108 shutout on two of the cards, but a mysterious 119-109 on the third (maybe that judge scored round six even).
