When is the most disappointed you have ever been with a fighter?..it might be a fighters career that you thought would do better ?. It might be a one fight performance that really let you down ?... which fighter was it for you...and why ?

Bonecrusher smith v tyson..... I really thought smith could have done something in this fight. Not saying he could have won , but he could have given tyson a good fight.
When he did finally decide to stop grabbing and let his hands go in the 12th he had tyson hurt.

Kelly Pavlik. Such a shame the way his career turned out. I thought for a time we had another legendary MW on our hands and I was looking forward to enjoying his career but the Hopkins fight was such a huge mistake!

Hatton Vs Pac in the sense that I stayed up till half 4 for 2 rounds of boxing
Sergio Martinez Vs Paul Williams II, same reason.

Foreman vs. Holyfield. I just knew big George was gonna lay the Real Deal out for the count.

And of course, Tyson getting KO'd by Douglas. Who? :patsch

He wanted to fight the best . We cant knock him for that .

I was a big Pavlik supporter and I will admit its sad the way his career quickly went down the drain .

I was becoming a real Harry Arroyo fan when 1985 rolled around; always on TV, action fighter, just the right amount of holes in his game to make all his fights interesting. Then he was systematically broken down over 15 by Jimmy Paul and was never close to the same again.

Hagler losing to Leonard hurt, too.

Good one. Jimmy Paul went on a nice little run over some good fighters: Robin Blake, Cubanito Perez, Freddie Pendleton, and Darryl Tyson. I was similarly disappointed when he was beaten by Greg Haugen. Haugen was sneaky good and I kind of underestimated him.

I could name a few: Mancini - Bramble I, McGuigan - Cruz, but the most disappointing I can think of is Qawi vs Spinks. I was convinced Qawi could get inside and break Spinks down late. Spinks fought a brilliant fight and unleashed the jinx enough to keep Qawi honest. Maybe I'm being a it harsh, but I didn't think Qawi wanted it as bad as Spinks and he let Spinks dictate the style and pce of the fight.

Viloria disappointed me a bit against Estrada. I was down about Froch versus Ward. Kazuto Ioka was a big disappointment against Amnat Ruenroeng.

Tim Witherspoon against Bonecrusher Smith in 1986 was another one. That was a sickener.

First time watching Roy Jones Jr fight live when I was 14 and had just recently gotten into boxing. I had wanted to see this amazing "superman of a fighter" and watched him against Tarver 2. That was my introduction to Roy. Very disappointing

    Pac-Morales 3....ordered the PPV expecting fireworks, 3 rounds later...facepalm...

Also remember as a kid my father ordered some PPV heavyweight fight that ended like 5 seconds into the first round...so theres that as well
