The most disappointing thing is he could've won.

What the ****! Haye won 2 rounds at the absolute max, Steward only went mad when the ref disgracefully took a point of Wlad for one of Haye's many soccer style dives.

Booth has always been rubbish, I said this a long time ago and might have even made a thread on it. He exposed himself as a poor tactician at the Valuev fight, where Haye should have been throwing serious punches well before the 12th.

Haye wouldn't have won this if he threw more punches because Wlad was waiting for him to open up. He beat him pretty much with the jab alone, and hardly threw any straight rights.

He can't blame it on Booth or the toe, because at the end of the day Booth's tactics won him a world title and helped Groves beat Degale. It's not Booth's fault, he can't make him raise his punch output.

I don't think anyone can say "oh, Haye would've still lost if he'd opened up" because we'll never know. What he did land bothered Klitschko, and at no point was he out on his feet, but you still got the feeling if Haye raised his output and pushed him back, he'd have done much better. Obviously he was gonna get nowhere throwing windmill hayemakers.

It was a bad gameplan overall, I guess.

Too QUICK too. He was ****ing excellent. Not getting a bit of credit either.

As for "badly hurt" in the last round. You all must be ****ing joking. He held up close as he always does, and was firing back hunting Haye with bad intentions within seconds of that punch. Wlad got hit a lot harder than that earlier in the fight and it didn't move him.

I still think Haye did OK, a cruiserweight who took some massive punches and lasted twelve. Only things to regret are his behaviour beforehand and the blaming everything on his little toe.

It's funny how every time Haye had Klitschko 'badly hurt', Wlad went on to completely dominate the rest of those rounds :think

Watchin the fight and thinking bout it afterwards the worst thing was Haye hurt him in the 3rd round and he didnt jump on him. I still cant understand it, Wlad was shaken, you could tell by the way he was fighting after he took the shot but Haye didnt put it on him. Very dissapointing.

I didn't think Klitschko was badly hurt in any of the rounds, just that Haye could've used a bit more (infact, a lot more) pressure. Could've been a totally different right, might not've been. We'll never know.
