When Tyson was WAY past his ****ing prime...by 10 or so years. But keep thinking LL would beat him in his prime with ease.

Tyson wasn't in his prime then either. Jesus Christ, dude.

Yes, LL beat Tyson. Not denying that. But to say LL beat the best Tyson or a worthy Tyson is a joke. Tyson was a shell at that point.

If I was a LL fan, I would NOT be saying Tyson was one of LL best wins.

You got some strange sense of history in this post.

Give it a rest. Tyson's prime was too short. He got whipped by an overweight diabetic Buster Douglas when he was 25 years young. Hell, Tyson himself has said that he would like to think he could beat Wlad or Vitali but realistically they are two big, strong and talented for him to have much of a chance against them even in his prime. He admits they are somewhat boring but very talented. He has said this in several interviews over the last five years. Lennox Lewis would surely beat him prime for prime also. Too big and strong with an endless jab and jackhammer right hand.

OK. What about the time Buster Douglas KO'd Tyson? - that was before Holyfied and Lewis demolished him.

I think Chris Byrd would have given MANY ATG HW's a tough tough fight.. especially older guys who wouldn't have the size advantage on him like it had in his era.

Chris Byrd was a damn good fighter.

If bums like MCcal and Rahman ( who was raped by maskaev twice) can KO lewis I guess Wlad would kill them easy ,right? Golota beat Bowe twice and tyson lost to many bums over his career ,bum like jimmy young outboxed george foreman , so all these ATG's are bums ,because they lost to bums or semi-bums?

    LISTEN carefully
he was only the fully recognised champ when he beat Chagaev.

The other alphabet phoney belts mean nothing , in heavyweights there is direct lineage to the REAL championship.

Wlads began at the chagaev fight. When he had those other belts he was a top CONTENDER.

If you want to count the alphabet belts as real titles then its time to add Joe louis wins when he entered the top 5 in the world also- for example.:deal

Wlad has 16 title defenses, not just the amount after the Chagaev fight.

All of the boxing publications list at 16.

Why should he only have the amount since Chagaev when he has been a titlist and he unified the other belts as well. Seems pretty unfair IMO.
