That was worse because Haye was giving it the Barrys in the run up to the fight about what he was going to do .come fight night he took the money and ran .I paid to watch that cr@p then going on about his little toe .slag!

Hard to top Seldon`s non effort.

I think Sharkey`s dive against Carnera deserves a mention. It may have been worse because Seldon may have been just honestly scared.

Honorable mention to Ali vs Spinks in the first fight. To do nothing for 14 plus rounds was pathetic and suspect. Had anyone else done that there probably would have been an investigation.

Oscar DelaHoya vs Hopkins. He embarrassed himself plain and simple. He ran his ass off and went down from the first decent punch he took.

Had Ali done that it would have been genius though. Evidence of his high ring IQ.

Audley Harrison against Haye was as bad as it gets. especially with all that pre-fight hype. I can't imagine the promoter signing that big check and handing it over to Harrison for that. I think I would have held it back and had him take me to court.

Wlad vs Povetkin is probably the most embarrassing performance I have seen by the winner in a world title bout.

Are we going to include an aging washed up effort from someone who shouldn't even be in the ring?? I was assuming the thread was concerning fighters that still were viable???

Max Baer supposedly "froze" up in the dressing room prior to his fight with Joe Louis. Baer's mgr/trainer Jack Dempsey told Baer: "If Max didn't get out there and fight, then Dempsey would kick his bass in the dressing room".
