Who's the most exciting Brit fighter iyo?
. Doesn't have to have been a world champ or even fought for a title, just someone you looked forward to watching?

Nigel Benn would get my vote for pure excitement/entertainment.

HM's to Naz, Enzo Macrinelli and David Price. Leigh Wood has had some dramatic fights, too.

My pick too. Had that killer punch, unpredictable chin and loved a scrap.

Didn't he live in the UK for a long time?

He came from Uganda, moved to UK and stayed there for a while and then moved to the US in Las Vegas. I think he would be considered as a UK fighter while he was active but it seems like he rarely gets mentioned as such.

    Barry McGuigan
    John Conteh
    Nigel Benn
    Charlie Magri
    Terry Downes
    Billy Walker *

    * Limited as far as all round ability went and never top class - not even a British title holder - but he was sure exciting to watch.

Ah I get you. Bit before my time but I've heard he was a tasty fighter.

Nice list, Stevie. Nice to see Walkers name there, the old 'Blond Bomber'.

    Benn

going back, Jimmy Wilde & Ted Lewis, followed by Jock McAvoy & Eric Boon to Freddie Mills, then perhaps Dave Charnley to Terry Downes,

maybe Sir Henry, too Big Joe, to Benn to LL when Britain claimed him back, to Froch and as mentioned perhaps Naz & Khan too and as it is 'Exciting' Fighter, Hatton must be added in as well.

the most exciting that should have been in recent times was Choi, but sadly Britain & Boxing somehow let him go.
