    Jim Lampley said it best

"And that right hand hurt Taylor"

"Taylor is stunned, left hook knocks Taylors head up"

"Uppercut has Taylor in big trouble"

    "DOWN GOES JERMAIN"

"And Steve Smoger is going to stop the fight"

"We have a brand new Middleweight Champion, Hes from Youngstown Ohio!"

    Then Larry adds

"The difference in this fight, one man got off the floor, the other man didn't"

Bet your house on Taylor? You must have too much cash for your own good...

Explain your reasons for that suggestion please.

i think taylor will come in this match more prepared than he ever was before. he knows he can't hurt pavlik and must have spent many sleepless nights thinking what could have been if he managed to land another solid blow on the 2nd round of that fight.

Before the first fight, Taylor insisted he was fully prepared and ready to erase the stench of his last two unglorious wins. Kelly sticks out his jaw for Jermain in the second round giving him a chance and a half to knock him out. Still, Taylor loses, knocked senseless in the 7th.
The question is, what could Taylor do better? He did everything right the first time and still failed. Pavlick had that terrible second round and STILL won.
Pavlick wins again, and maybe even ends it faster.

I personally thought the most exciting moment/s of the year was the minutes leading up the Mayweather-Hatton fight. I had butterflies! I was hyped for that fight

I imagine a lot of people will take your advice considering the amount of home forclosures these days.

what do you mean 'he knows he can't hurt Pavlik'?:huh
Didn't look that way in the 2nd round.

the smart money for the rematch must be with Taylor at almost 2/1.

moment of the year? For me there were 2

    Sprott knocking Harrison out cold.
    Donaire smashing Darchinyan.

That was very nice, eze. I remember that moment well. Too bad it wasn't Fight of the Year or Kelly Fighter of the Year.

    He deserved it.

Hell of a fight. Top shelf **** for sure. I still have a hard time picking though between that one and the Miranda win. VS Miranda is when the world finally took notice of Pavlik, hell at the Pressers it was like Pav wasn't even there. It was all about JT and Miranda. Then fight night HBO shows a 10 min documentary about Miranda and just shows Kelly walk to the ring.

I know it's not so fresh in people's mind now but round 2 vs Miranda was all out god damn WAR!! Pav had him backed in a corner and both were just blazing away! All in all both were great fights and great wins.

Fight of the Year For sure..

But I thought it was 50/50 for Fighter of the Year with Floyd. I wouldn't of been dissapointed either way.

Maybe they should of split it this year and gave it to them both thats how close it was for me.
