    :rofl:rofl

So what happened to all the fans of this guy? I remember a time when he was supposed to utterly murder Mayweather in the ring, and now barely anyone brings him up anymore. Now Cotto seems to have replaced him as the Great Hope to destroy Mayweather...I wonder who it'll be next month? :patsch

Yuriorkis Gamboa. First Freddie Norwood pulled out of his fight with Gamboa, then Ramirez...

It seems like no one wants to risk his record against the Cuban.

couldnt have said it better myself.. many people thought it could have been hatton to defeat mayweather, but sadly he wasnt.. but now it's cotto who everyone wants to see mayweather fight.. but this time, i believe cotto could be the one to put the digit in mayweathers loss column.. cotto is a much more powerful puncher than both mayweather and hatton in my opinion.. yes, mayweather has fought big names, but he has not fought the best.. mayweather is far from the most feared man in boxing.. youve got boxers such as calzaghe who is 44-0 and other good unbeaten fighters, but mayweather gets the most recognition? please fight cotto.. and if he can beat him, then mayweather will get my respect.. but i think thats highly unlikely

I thought it wasn't even a real knockdown. It looked more like a combination of a slip as well as a subtle push by De Jesus.

Turning down such rediculous amounts to fight Margarito or anyone has some underlying reasons.. I think Floyd is being pushed into maybee meeting someone who he can't just cherry pick, Margarito actually is not someone that i think is that big of a deal, I just hink Floyd is a control freak and wants to look like he carries all of the cards. A shame he is looking a bit odd by not signing this fight.. That money is just so great.. I am astonished. He just mustn't need any more cash...

soto is avoided and so is guzman, neither can get fights they want, so they had to fight each other.

Bull****. I will try to organize my reply here:

    1. Mayweather hasn't cherry picked. Someone who faces Genaro Hernandez in his 18th fight, Corrales (P4P contender), Jesus Chavez (two division champ), Castillo twice, Judah (former Undisputed 147 champ), De la Hoya (great fighter) and Hatton (P4P contender) can't be cherry picking opponents. Read: Mayweather has faced approx. 17 Top10 contenders in his whole career, similar to Ray Leonard.

    2. Welterweight is Mayweather's 4th weight class. The simple fact that he is competitive and a Lineal Champion there is impressive.

    3. Almost all All Time Greats left unanswered questions. Robinson didn't face Charley Burley. Leonard didn't fight McCallum, Curry, Jackson, Kalambay, etc. Larry Holmes didn't face Greg Page, Michael Dokes, Gerrie Coetzee. Joe Louis never fought Elmer Ray. Jones didn't fight Benn, Eubank, McClellan, Michalzewski.
