to me last night, was his incredible poise and focus. He seemed so calm the entire time, never got rattled, even when Margarito landed huge shots, stuck to his gameplan, and stayed "in the zone" the entire fight.

That's extemely unusual and impressive for a young fighter on the big stage in what was a hostile environment.

Couple that ability with his obvious physical advantages and conditioning, and you have a very formidable foe.

Yup...he and Gomez were very focused and seemed relaxed. But Sometimes Williams looked like a man possessed in there...

Yeah, I was more nervous then he was. Margarito rocked him but I knew Williams had a chin. But I thought fatigue would set in. But ****, margarito was more tired then him. lol

the best thing about the punisher? other than the fact that at times he looks just like a young tommy hearns. he doesnt seem to have the power hearns had but as far as styles they are pretty close

i dont wanna take anything away from williams but styles make fights people . anyone with knowledge enough of the sport knew williams was gonna give margarito a fit because of his size. all be it said i think williams gives alot of guys this problem but i think a guy like cotto gets in on him and lands to the body and i think floyd is just to fast and has much more movement than margarito i mean margarito looked terrible in there and slow as hell .... like i said styles make fights so lets see the route williams takes now .....does he fight cotto pbf or cintron

To me the most impressive was the 12 round. He showed he has what it takes to be champion as Margarito started getting some momentum in the later rounds, he came out firing to win the 12th and seal the fight.

I was amazed at all the angles he was giving Margo. The first 5 rounds Williams punches seemed like they were coming from the canvas one second and the rafters the next. Even some of his uppercuts in the cliches were a between the legs and behind his back moves.

Thats because the ref was threatening to take a point if he continued to hold which by the way he wasnt doing to much of
